An ideal setting - only 10min from the airport, a lovely beach just a 15min stroll away, I also enjoyed a trip into Argoustoli, the capital, to see some turtles. A great holiday. "

"The hotel is located in Lassi, and is just a short journey from the airport (approx 10 mins). The taxi journey was $20 from airport to hotel, and $25 from hotel back to airport, although a bus is available. The location is absolutely perfect for the amazing Makris Gialos beach, and a 5 minute walk to a supermarket and the beginning of a road full of restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop is directly outside the hotel. It looked as though the hotel and pool area had been completed redecorated recently. Our room was small but clean and tidy, and the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. The bathroom toilet and basin looked new, but the bath/shower needed an updated – but worked perfectly okay. The staff were brilliant – really helpful and friendly – we had no issues at all throughout our stay. The pool area was great, lots of sunbeds (which looked new) and a bar for drinks etc. We ate out each evening in local restaurants (great value and lovely food), but ate breakfast at the hotel – breakfast was fairly limited in choice and basic, but it was okay. We would definitely stay at the hotel again – not least because of the location opposite the wonderful Makris Gialos beach. "

"Set up hill which was a bit strenuous at time to walk. However on the upside you get the seaviews and quieter away from main road. Only a few minutes walk from several tavernas and a couple of supermarkets. Only 8 rooms so pool was never busy. Room was spotless and Lola looked after us really well. Extra cost if you want air con.. Mind you don't stub toes on bed legs! All in all we recommend Kekatos Studios. "

"We loved our stay at Makris Yialos Apartments. The room was spacious, comfortable and very quiet. There were plenty of sunbeds available around the pool throughout our stay and the staff at the pool bar always gave us a warm friendly welcome. We had food from the snack bar several times and it was always fresh and delicious. The location of the apartments were perfect, at one end of the strip of restaurants and bars and next to a couple of supermarkets, so we never had to walk far for anything we needed. There was also bus stops right outside which we used for a short day trip to Argostolion. I would highly recommend staying there and will definitely be looking to re-book when I next return to Kefalonia."
