"Interesting place to stay. Seems like bed and breakfast place without a breakfast.
The place was super quiet and spacious. Not very comfortable beds. "
"Ejeren af Jungshovedgaard har sat sit tydelige præg på stedet, som er smagfuldt, hyggeligt og kuriøst indrettet - man mærker tydeligt, at det er en mand ud af en antikvitetshandlerfamilie. Hvis du foretrækker moderne koncepthoteller, så gå langt uden om dette sted…😌 Det koster lidt mere end et standard Bed & Breakfast, men det er det værd. Morgenmaden er lækker - ganske enkelt. "The lodging was fine. But we had a situation upon arrival that was a bit uncomfortable as no one was available to receive us. Hence, this is more of a criticism of the platform hotels.com because we received an email that said the booking is confirmed and only much further down the email in small print did it notify that we needed to contact the property 24 hours in advance to make arrangements for access to property. Further down the line, it indicated only a phone number for special requests....
"The beds was nice to sleep in. The breakfast buffet was ok however if you have food allergies this is not the place. I had exspected more verity at the buffet given high points by others"

"Beautiful location and garden grounds. The bathroom trash was full and a wet piece of underwear was also on the floor. We were charged $12 USD for using our credit card even though we chose charging in local currency. Breakfast buffet was low even by 8:30 but remaining fruits were fresh and tasty. We had had a late arrival (9:45pm) which we confirmed via email."
"Not impressed at all. Exhibits all the traits of a company reducing staff and service to maximize profits.
All the staff were grumpy and not particularly friendly, helpful or knowledgeable about an annex we were unknowingly staying at. Pathetic is our summary.
Being a tired, wet, cold traveler you choose a hotel to be welcomed, made to feel at home, everything made easy for you, everything explained………. Not this hotel!"

"I usually do not post reviews at Expedia but I think it is important to warn about the experience, I recently had at Jungshoved Præstegård.
When I arrived, I was told by the person, who checked me in that the room I had booked, the Classic room, only had a shared bathroom a fact I had not noticed at the reservation.
When she, a young woman from Ukraine, saw my reaction, she was kind enough to offer me a room with a bathroom, because, as she said, you are the only guest anyway.
I was of course happy with the solution and enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend for another night.
Later, I met the owner of the place, who appeared very forthcoming and nice until she at checkout in a very unpleasant way informed me, that the room I had occupied was much more expensive than the one I had paid for and on a very businesslike way presented me with an extra charge of 3000 kroner.
The amount included 3 breakfasts but still, an outrageous amount, in particular since I was not informed that the change of room would be charged on top of what I already had paid.
When I tried to challenge the amount, she became very agitated and consequently I decided to pay and put the entire thing on my very short list of unfortunate travel experiences.
To add to the bad attitude, I was denied a late check out, even though the place was empty and no one else needed the room.
