"Beautiful property with lovely views of the Barolo area. The Lab restaurant was a treat and executed great food. Room was great with balcony. Swimming pool was very welcoming in the hot weather. "Excellent property , delightful , very helpful owner (Sandy) and delicious breakfast each morning . One minor point was a bit of a surprise . It only appeared two couples (including us) were staying the two nights we were were, yet of the six apartments (4 with fantastic views) we were putting a back facing ground floor apartment - looking at a wall(as were the other couple right above us). Maybe the rooms with fantastic views overlooking the valley were reserved with those who directly...

"Things to like: Lovely pool area, well-kept grounds, great food at dinner, simple but updated room, access to Alba area. Things to consider: For US travelers, it could be challenging if you need extra service, since the staff currently did not speak English. We appreciated their frugal country ways, but also found the place dark (lights out- nobody at desk after 8). A bit isolated in August but could be delightful when they host weddings there. "

"Das Hotel wirkt komplett vernachlässigt. Es ist sehr lieblos eingerichtet, der Frühstücksraum hat die Atmosphäre eine Bahnhofshalle. Das Frühstück bestand meist aus vom Vortag übrig gebliebenen Resten (die am nächsten Morgen noch genauso dort gestanden sind, zB Kuchen und Brot). Es gab ausschließlich Marmelade, auf meine Frage nach Butter meinte die Hausherrin "nein, die hab ich nicht". Die Matratze im Bett war durchgelegen und desolat.
