"First of all, I think the property listing on Expedia should be removed. It was an hour + cab ride from the airport (100 uds), even the cab driver said he had never been to that part of osaka. Then, 3 flights of stairs with luggage, no elevator, impossible to figure out the key to get in, chef from the restaurant next door had to contact them and get it figured out, in japanese, of course. The room was musty and smelled of mildew, took half a day with a/c full blast and patio door open to...

"Great value for money. 3 rooms on 2nd floor and 1st floor is common area with toliet, shower, kitchen, refrigerator.
Traditional Japanese style room. Room is simple with matress, small ground table, A/C. Not much soundproof.
No elevator & need to use stiff stairs. Host seems living in 1st floor. Use key to open/close room.
Place is located on the side of small car road, not inside. Search '清舎' on google map."

"My wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the host’s mother. The property is in an area away from the city where we could get a taste of everyday life in Japan, so we were delighted every time we walked to and from the train stations. Plus, our host was very helpful and attentive, she assisted us to get our luggage forwarded to our next hotel.
