"The apartment was wonderfully historic. Fit with the charm of Obidos. With age though comes a bit of musty scent, but was part of the charm. Bedrooms were big and sunny. Bathroom large. Living space small but you don’t come here to sit and watch tv. I would stay again but also look around fir other accommodations too for fun"

"The property was clean and well decorated. There was a kettle, toaster and coffee machine in the kitchen, but only one socket for all three. The kitchen was equipped with two hobs and a microwave.The light switch in the bedroom has a battery operated switch, but the batteries were flat. There was also a remote in which the batteries were good. There is a plug in heater in each of the bedrooms, but no accessible socket to plug it in. "The hosts and house are what every home sharing experience should strive to be like. Their communication was phenomenal, the location was picturesque, and if they didn't have it, they were quick with a great recommendation. We were fortunate enough to be here for Carnaval and were less than a 10 minute walk from the joyous festivities. If you want to experience a welcoming and native town in Portugal that is near both Lisbon and Obidos, this is a must."

"We loved the location, inside the walls; we enjoyed walking along the castle walls and wandering the twisty, old, cobblestone streets. We found excellent cafes and restaurants within Óbidos and did a day trip by bus to Nazaré. However, the 1 bathroom was tiny- it was challenging to even turn around. The bathroom sink did not have a stopper and I didn’t feel comfortable putting in and cleaning my contact lenses over that little sink.
