"Alarcón is a beautiful spot to spend a few quiet days. The scenery is spectacular and there are many options for hiking or simple walks. The hotel was wonderful. Javier was friendly and allowed us to use our Spanish even as he could easily have switched to English. I appreciate this! He is knowledgeable about the area and had good advice on things we might like to see. The food was great and the hotel was peaceful. I would love to go back. "

"Lovely roadside hotel which doesn't look much from outside but is lovely once inside with a pretty courtyard, historic look, great restaurant and friendly bar. We were again allowed to park our motorcycle securely in the courtyard which is most welcome for travellers. We had a bit of a worry on arrival as there seemed to be no record of our booking which we'd made the night before through the Hotels app but a room was quickly cleaned and prepared for us."
