Great Design Apartment Near Acropolis And Top Sights, Free Wi-fi

  • The apartment’s size is 70 square meters, has two balconies (living room and bedroom) and is divided in two spaces: the living room with TV, fully equipped kitchen, wooden floor, hidden lighting, design furniture, and the bedroom with a bathroom which has a glass partition through which you can see a built large shower area. Both spaces are comfortable, have beautiful materials and guarantee a delightful stay. Ideal for a couple. A sofa turns into two beds in the living room for a third and a forth person or a child.
    There is also free wi-fi, washing machine, coffee maker, boiler, two air conditioners, iron with iron board and you tube on the TV.
    The owner is an architect and has designed the interior of the apartment with excellent materials, great design and quality of construction.


    There is car transportation service from the airport to the property.

    Only costs 45 euros from 5am to midnight.
    And from midnight to 5 am 60 euros.

    Also if you arrived late at the property after the 6 pm .
    You'll be charged 35 euros.

Awesome location.

Easy to walk to the sites, food, and the metro. If you are coming from the U.S., I highly recommend using the hosts driver, Spyros. He helped us with check in and gave great suggestions regarding day trips or using the ferry.

Very nice apartment with excellent location

Efi arranged transportation from the airport. The driver was friendly and assisted with our luggage. The location is near the Acropolis museum and many wonderful restaurants. A short walk to Plaka.we would definitely stay again.

Great Location

The apartment was conveniently located to all the sites in Athens. The recommendations for restaurants were great. Spyros did a great job explaining everything and getting us to and from. Thanks for a great few days!

This property is exactly as advertised. 1 block from the Acropolis Museum and really close to the rest of the sights. Anything you want to eat is within a 2 or 3 minutes walk. Excellent place to stay in Athens.

Truly the Heart of Athens

This was the perfect apartment. Clean and exactly as advertised. Minutes walk away from many of the core attractions and restaurants. We would not hesitate to stay here again when we return. Great host and driver.

Excellent Location in Nice Property

Perfect location (right next to Acropolis Museum) from which to explore Athens. Lots of restaurants and attractions in walking distance. We never needed transportation. Property was great with two small balconies. Host arranged driver from airport which was great!

I LOVE ATHENS

The Poseidonos ferry from Skala on Agistri island was seamless. Spiros was there to pick me up holding my name high in the air. He offered wonderful laughable stories during the ride to my new home for 2 weeks.

Perfect location with plenty of space

This VRBO was in an excellent location, just a short walk to the Acropolis and to the Plaka neighborhood, which is filled with shops and restaurants. The transfer driver was excellent, bringing us exactly to the property and explaining the check-in process. The space was modern, clean, and very spacious. We really enjoyed staying here and felt like it was great value just given the close proximity to where we wanted to be in Athens. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Wonderful stay

We had a great time at the apartment! It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location is absolutely amazing, with everything in walking distance. We had an issue with water leaking from the bedroom AC, but the other AC was strong enough that it kept us very cool during our stay. The host was communicative and helped us arrange a taxi to and from the airport. Definitely recommend!

Perfect Location

This was the perfect location. There are great restaurants, grocery store and a liquor store right around the corner. Easy walk to the Metro Stations and the Acropolis. They arranged for a pickup at the airport for us and the driver took us up to the apartment which made check in very easy. We were happy to get a load of laundry done before we left for our cruise. The place is clean and the bed is comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Amazing! Definitely recommend!

This was mine and my boyfriend’s first time using vrbo and we have had a really pleasant experience overall. Our stay at this apartment was incredible, really couldn’t recommend it more!. The host was very helpful and friendly on our arrival and throughout our stay. We thought the location was perfect as it is round the corner from acropolis, loads of bars and restaurants nearby. There was also an easy accessible metro station if you want to adventure out. The apartment itself was very safe and secure. Bigger than we expected! Which was a lovely surprise. Very clean and tidy. The balcony was a sun trap, which we loved. The road noise is slightly loud when the doors are open but totally fine when the doors are shut. The only issue I think other people would complain about is that the apartment is on the 4th floor and after a long day of walking the stairs tire you out. There is a lift that I used a couple of times but it’s not for people who feel claustrophobic as it is very small.

Great Design Apartment September 2024

The apartment was in a very convenient location, with many restaurants just around the corner, as well as the Acropolis Museum, and other local attractions. The owner was very helpful and open to communication about the apartment, places to eat, etc. She also arranged transportation to and from the airport with a very friendly and knowledgeable driver. The apartment was large and well stocked, but there were a few concerns that prevented this from being a 5-star review: The unit was not as clean as the photos showed, especially the kitchen; there was some mold on the ceiling of the bathroom; the freezer was completely iced over and not usable; the back deck was filled with cleaning items and drying laundry and was therefore not usable either. ALSO: The elevator to and from the unit was very outdated and had a maximum capacity of 1 person, so moving heavy baggage was a challenge and we took the stairs up all 4 floors most of the time. All being said it was still a great value.

Great location but be vigilant!

This unit is located on the 4th floor with a lift and it is walking distance to everything. Thankful for the manager Efi for taking my phone call a little bit after 12 am because my hubby’s passport, laptop, cash etc. were stolen from the unit due to break-in. It is suspected that thieves made their way in from the patio by going through the roof and down to the unit. Unfortunately no cameras are installed in front of the patio nor the front door. Efi suggested that we go to the embassy to obtain a new passport and offered to call the taxi driver who checked us in the unit to give us a ride in the morning. As this was our first visit in Athens, it was great that Efi arranged our airport pick up through a cab driver for €50 who also checked us in the unit. The driver helped us with our luggage and gave us instructions how to turn on the hot water, open/lock the building entry door, front door of the unit as well as the patio door with a metal security/blinds from the outside that goes up and down if the patio door is to be opened/closed. The taxi driver also asked us what day we were leaving and offered to drop us to the cruise port for €25 which we agreed to do. Unfortunately, the taxi driver wasn’t available to take us to the cruise port so we didn’t get to see him and thank him in person. Overall, despite of our traumatic experience, just be vigilant. Athens is beautiful! This unit is close proximity to everything.

Thank you Efi I loved my stay!Stayed 4 a week until Dec 23rd & would stay again.Highly Recommend 5 Stars:1 person lift that is fast & works well. Many have none.The apartment is beautiful as described. Rooms were large, even bathroom & shower.Excellent location close to Parthenon & Uber to Plaka only 5 Euros if you don't want to walk.Nice safe neighborhood reasturants very close. Not over crowded.I will give less than 4.5 stars for ( I'm being picky)A wriitten sheet laminated with FAQ as not to repeat to each renter & ease stay. But owner very responsive. Also use Uber & Get Your Guide Apps for transport & tours.Heater/AC in living room only Broke. Due Christmas could not be repaired. Owner was quick to try & replace. A provided space heater worked fine . Cannot be helped but a small price reduction would have been nice.Freezer was over Frosted & not usable. Refrigerator fine.Lacked microwave, toaster & tea kettle leaked but was usable.Need more silverware & cups.Has nice washer but in Greek so use Google Translator & supplies under bathroom sink No dryer- didn't expect use dryer rack.No safe take passports & any valuables w/ you.Suggest Tough up paint, FAQ Sheet. Better sitting Area outside on Patio, a safe bolted to floor microwave, toaster, fix freezer, get microwave & toaster.Most 4.5 stars R to help others & owner.US renters U R are not in US stop acting petty in comments or stay at overpriced 1 room hotel. LOVED IT HERE

Not what was expected

Normally I don’t provide reviews but I feel compelled to share our experience so that others aren’t fooled by the five star and 10/10 reviews/. The good is the location. A short walk to the Acropolis and close to numerous restaurants. End of the good. The bad is that the photos don’t represent the property. It’s tired. Chipped walls, kitchen walls splattered with stains, dust everywhere. The shower bar in the shower was held up with some scotch tape wrapped around a paper towel, there is mold along the back of the counter top in the bathroom and the robe hook is falling off the wall. We actually found hairs between the bed sheets. It got worse. We were picked up by the host driver at the airport and subjected to a wild ride from there to the property, often crossing multiple lanes when cornering. When we arrived the driver showed us around and when we opened the patio door on the front balcony we could not get it to close. We decided because all of the windows have electric shutters we would leave it. A big mistake. Two nights later we went out for dinner to a local restaurant. When we returned we opened the door to find all of our belongings strewn across the apartment. We had been robbed!Remember we are on the fourth floor. I give credit to the host for quickly attending the property but in the end her maintenance man determined the shutters had been compromised and were not a deterrent. She gave us a partial refund but avoid this property. We left early for our safety.

The apartment was awesome. From as soon as we landed at the airport, the owner had arranged for a driver to pick us up and take us directly to the apartment, which was so convenient. The location is superb located in the Plaka area and five minutes from all kinds of restaurants , gift, shops, bakeries,and walking distance to the acropolis. We were very pleased.

We stayed 11 nights and used the apartment as a base-camp to tour Athens and took six day trips all over the place. Key Tours (also highly recommended) is just around the corner. The apartment is a lovely place to stay for a while and is very much in the centre of things - and there’s an AB supermarket just around the corner. Would stay there again should we come back to Greece.

This was so much better than staying at a hotel! The location was near everything! The neighborhood is clean and very safe. The place is charming and cozy! It’s perfect for a couple. We are going to be telling our friends about this place. It’s near the metro, the museum, and the Acropolis. All in a walking distance! Great places to eat! I would stay here again for sure!

The apartment is spacious and our only complaint is due to our age (79 and 80) and my husband’s height (6’3”). The living room furniture was quite low but comfortable. So we would sit and getting up was interesting. It was really amusing.
