Room was clean and adequate! Very noisy outside with some generator or something like that. So had to close windows and felt a bit stuffy. Breakfast was top class
Perfect for my work trip. Nice en suite room with friendly staff. The room i got was spacious and clean. Car park is small and tight - you need to be a driving instructor to park in the lines or manoeuvre in and out. Local supermarkets and food places open to a reasonable time.
The room was small and cozy, which was perfect for my short solo trip. It's walking distance to the train station, a supermarket, and several shops, pubs and restaurants. Only weirdness was having to check in and get room keys at the pub a couple doors down. This wasn't mentioned beforehand, but luckily the pharmacist nearby guided me in the right direction!

Thought staff food and room were brilliant. Glass on floor outside not the properties fault. Town centre would stay again prefer down stairs room.
Stayed in ensuite quadruple room (2nd floor), surprised to find small kitchenette with sink fridge kettle and microwave - tea coffee sugar and milk provided - 4 mugs but no other crockery. Large room with table and 3 chairs, beds were fairly comfortable but duvets were very thin. Window a bit draughty as it didnt close properly, this also made it a bit noisy in the room in the morning. A good heater in the room and heated towel rail in the bathroom. Good town centre location, 5 minutes walk to train station and all local amenities on the doorstep. I hadn't realised that these rooms are part of the Red Lion Pub/Hotel which is where you have to check in but the room was through a separate entryway into another building. There is a dedicated reception desk next to the bar, receptionist was very polite and helpful. Bar and dining area is large and welcoming, breakfasts are available which are cheaper if you prebook through reception.
Window wide open on arrival, it took ages/hours for the room to warm up hence another duvet from single bed was used!!
Mattress on bed needs changing very poor quality
Everything else good value for the price
