Located just south of Downtown Atlanta, Castleberry Hill is a vibrant, creative, and historic neighborhood with a character all its own. Once home to early 20th-century warehouses, the district has transformed into a thriving community of dramatic lofts, galleries, restaurants, and shops, all while preserving its strong historic identity.
Recognized on the National Register of Historic Places since 1985, Castleberry Hill represents the most complete surviving warehouse district in the city. The neighborhood’s roots run deep—its railways shaped the streets and buildings, Atlanta’s first horse-drawn trolley line once served its residents, and after the Civil War, it became home to tradespeople who supported the city’s growth.
Today, Castleberry Hill is culturally diverse, artistic, and full of energy, offering both a glimpse into Atlanta’s past and a taste of its modern renaissance. With walkable access to downtown attractions, easy highway connections, and public transportation nearby, it’s the perfect place to stay, explore, and experience one of Atlanta’s most unique communities.
You’ll have full access to the entire condo—the space is completely yours, so settle in and make yourself at home.
Self Check-In is simple and secure. Guests can enter through either the front entrance or the rear garage doors, both equipped with smart keypads. Prior to arrival, you’ll receive a unique code that will unlock all exterior entry doors, including the garage, so you can come and go with ease.
For your unit, you’ll be given a separate auto-generated code that will remain active for the entirety of your stay, ensuring both convenience and security. All access is powered by Point Central software, making the process seamless and completely keyless.
Morning light filters across exposed brick and reclaimed wood floors as the city eases into the day outside. Inside, the loft feels calm and intentional, with layered lighting and warm textures that make winter evenings especially inviting after time spent exploring downtown Atlanta.
Set within a recently completed Castleberry Hill development, this loft accommodates up to six guests with a layout designed for comfort and flexibility. The primary bedroom is generously sized and includes an en-suite full bathroom, offering a private place to unwind. The second bedroom is a semi-private flex space without a door, paired with an attached half bath, making it well suited for flexible sleeping arrangements or a relaxed lounge area. Together, the spaces support shared living while still providing defined areas to rest.
Kitchen & living
At the heart of the loft is an open kitchen that works equally well for quick breakfasts or longer stays. A center island anchors the space, complemented by custom Bell wood cabinetry and Jenn-Air professional appliances. The kitchen flows naturally into the living area, creating an easy rhythm for cooking, gathering, or settling in for a quiet night indoors. Brick and tile accents, marble and quartz surfaces, and custom lighting add depth without feeling overstated.
Work, comfort & convenience
You’ll have WiFi and a dedicated workspace, making the loft a practical option for remote work or extended visits. In-unit washer and dryer add everyday convenience, while heating, air conditioning, and ceiling fans help keep the space comfortable year-round. Self check-in with a smart lock allows for easy arrivals, and housekeeping services are available at an additional cost.
Building amenities
The building offers elevator access and one covered parking space in the garage, along with free street parking nearby. Shared outdoor areas include a patio or balcony and an electric BBQ grill, offering a simple place to step outside or enjoy a casual meal.
Neighborhood
Located in Castleberry Hill, the loft sits within one of Atlanta’s most storied neighborhoods. Former warehouses now house galleries, restaurants, and shops, all woven together by a strong sense of history. Downtown attractions are within walking distance, and nearby highways and public transportation make getting around the city straightforward.
Perfect for
This space is well suited for couples, small groups, business travelers, or long-term guests looking for a centrally located loft with character, flexible sleeping arrangements, and easy access to downtown Atlanta.
Getting around is easy and convenient. The condo is located just 3 blocks from the CNN Center MARTA Station, giving you direct access to the airport and the rest of Atlanta. For those flying in, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is only 10 miles away, about a 15–20 minute drive. Prefer rideshare? Uber and Lyft are always less than 5 minutes away and very reasonably priced.
We welcome all travelers—come experience comfort, history, and modern style at “The Otis.”
The Otis is more than just another Atlanta building—it’s an experience. Nestled in the neighborhood’s main entertainment corridor, The Otis combines historic character with modern design, brought to life with the creative influence of one of Castleberry Hill’s own former residents, designer and television personality Ty Pennington. An Atlanta native and graduate of the Atlanta College of Art, Pennington is best known for his work on Trading Spaces and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. His artistic touch is found throughout the property, with custom pieces of artwork displayed not only in the residences but also in the gallery-style common areas.
The name “The Otis” pays homage to the historic elevator manufacturer that once occupied the site. The preserved façade still proudly bears the company’s logo, offering a unique nod to Atlanta’s past while embracing the city’s vibrant present.
For those looking to elevate their stay, we’re thrilled to offer an add-on culinary experience with Registered Dietitian and Private Chef D’Nae of DNA360’ Kitchen.
