The updated condo was clean on arrival. The building is old; the elevator works well even though the digital numbers in the elevator are not correct. I could not open the siding glass door; it is either off the track or so sandy it won’t open. It is very old and needs to be replaced. The screens on the windows are just shreds and the ocean view windows could use a good washing. The unit itself has nice furniture and flooring; the kitchen could use some attention as utensils are rusty and need upgrading.There was no soap or dishwashing liquid on arrival. We reported to the rental company and did not receive any response.We enjoyed our stay at the Summerwinds Resort. Having 3 large pools was fun and of course the beach was wonderful!!

I rarely ever write reviews, but this listing warrants folks knowing what they can expect. The over all property of Summer Winds is fairly nice (multiple well-kept pools, great staff and security, a fun game room, on the beach), but the complex is showing its age. The unit itself needs so much work. When we arrived on Friday evening, the beds had no sheets on them and there were no towels in the place. There was no starter set, no trash bags in the trash cans - so much missing. The rental company tried to make this right, but the result was a trash bag full of sheets and towels left at our door around 9pm. We were responsible for making our own beds, etc. More importantly, the condo is just so old and worn and has not been kept up with over the years. There is a reason there are no pictures of the kitchen in the listing. We found so many things missing or not working in our stay there. The majority of the blinds in the unit are broken (pieces sitting on the windowsills), the glass sliding door was broken (wouldn't open and close properly) so we could not enjoy the balcony, the electrical outlets in the master bathroom do not work, there was an unpleasant smell throughout the condo..and I could go on. For over 500 dollars a night, everyone should expect more. I will say the master bed was quite comfortable, but honestly, that is about all I can commend. The owners desperately need to invest in getting this unit up to rentable standards.

The location of the property was great. All of the pools were really nice. My main complaint is that the condo wasn’t cleaned properly. Other than that the condo was good. We had what we needed.
