Wonderful for pets!

Only 3 easily walkable blocks to beach access. Very quiet and relaxing neighborhood! Close to everything. We also visited Moorehead City and Beauford by car, which were both less than 6 miles away. Leashed dogs allowed on the beach at all times was definitely a plus!
