Neighborhood — Quiet, family-oriented coastal community with a beach-town vibe. Landmarks and draws within a short walk or short drive include Margate Beach and boardwalk, Lucy the Elephant (historic roadside attraction), Marven Gardens, small surf shops, cafés and seasonal restaurants along Ventnor and Atlantic Avenues. Summers are busy with beachgoers; off-season is noticeably quieter.

Getting around — Walkable for local errands, beach access and nearby restaurants; short local drives or bike rides along the island for other conveniences. Street parking is common (seasonal rules/permit and meter restrictions may apply). Rideshare and taxis serve the area but can be limited late at night; local bike shops rent boards and bikes in season. For regional transit, buses connect to Atlantic City; NJ Transit rail service terminates at Atlantic City with onward local buses or taxi/rideshare to Margate.
