"Lovely property with comfortable well appointed rooms. Extremely courteous staff and excellent dining and drinking options. Enjoying the lounge by the fire is terribly cozy, we nixed our plan to pop into Oban. Everything was pristine with keen attention to detail. Didn’t have the time to enjoy the spa but hope to do so during a future visit. "

"Cozy rooms, atmospheric decor, friendly staff, and a convenient location just around the corner from Oban Distillery. The on-site beer (and whisky) garden is a great amenity, and bar staff are very knowledgeable about what they’re pouring. "

"Old hotel room was very nice and updated and very comfortable accompanied by lovely breakfast. The hotel location is perfect facing the harbour view and few steps away from the train station. Highly recommended."

"Really lovely welcome by the Reception staff and general manager. The hotel was undertaking some work, and recently had work completed. Fantastic views, lovely staff, great food, highly recommend. "

"Our stay at the hotel was very nice, room was comfortable and the staff extremely pleasant. we did make a comment re our evening meal but hear no more about it (lasagne was dry) i have attempted to make contact with the hotel by phone since our stay on the 14th February but no one seems to pick up phone calls. my query is regarding the addition of VAT added to our bill food and drinks. i did not see any evidence of VAT included or to be added to our bill. my hotel receipt shows at the foot of the bill that "this is not a VAT invoice but your VAT number is included in your footer. is this an error on your part or have i missed this. "Had dinner while staying and the macaroni cheese i got served was the best thing i came across in West of Scotland. Properly baked with a crispy top and really creamy inside easily one of the best I’ve had."
