"A much needed get away for 3 young widows. We came to the area to ride the pedal powered Rail Explorer in Boone (about an hour away). We laughed, cried and left restored. This place is so special! Kris, you are a gem and so kind. Thank you for creating a place for people to rest and refresh. There were 2 full bathrooms. The beds had great sheets/bedding and the mattresses were comfortable. "This house was perfect for our family gathering in my wife’s hometown. Plenty of room for the 8 of us to sleep, and a large dining/living room area for a family meal and space to visit. The beds were comfortable. 2 grandsons claimed the room in the basement with a couch and loveseat. This will definitely be top of our list again if we have another family gathering here. Large smart TV in the main room. Smaller TV in some of the bedrooms. Nice book collection, and some DVD’s."
