"The staff is excellent. Spoke with Carlos at Casa Mia Suites soon after booking our vacation on Expedia. He confirmed our reservations and asked if we needed transportation from the airport. With four of us and a lot of luggage he suggested sending a Suburban or Van to pick us up. He stayed in constant contact after securing us transportation. Making sure we knew exactly who was picking us up and making sure the driver knew the flight we were coming in on. Carlos checked us in once we arrived at Casa Mia and let us into one room a little early so we could leave luggage and explore the town until the other room was ready at the usual check in time. Rooms are great very authenticly decorated as is the entire property. Rooms were spacious and clean and we had the junior suites the smallest rooms on property. Excellent service the entire time the staff would assist in arranging any of our needs. Called a driver and schedule a vineyard tour as well as calling taxis when needed. The only thing that was a little of an issue is the hot water for shower. Both rooms took a while to get hot water and you had to find the right spot on handle to get it. Shower heads might need to be changed probably just calcified as well as the diverters. The hotel is located on a street that inclines slightly the first few blocks but get steeper about a block away. When we were tired from walking around the town we would just hail a cab to avoid walking that hill. A cab was about 90 pesos."

"We are four “mature” women and this stat was in the middle of our trip. Two were feeling a bit under the weather so they actually stayed in the hotel the whole time we were there. My other friend and I did take advantage of the shuttle into town. One day we all hung out at the pool. It’s a beautiful area with comfy lounge chairs and umbrellas and tables. It’s right off the bar/restaurant, which is convenient. I was bit confused by the room amenities - one apple, one decaf pod of coffee and one regular pod. Maria hooked up these two coffee drinkers with a cup of coffee a day for each with enough cream. She also helped us figure out the coffee machine. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the decorating in the room and throughout whole hotel. It was always very quiet. I’d have liked the room a tad cooler, but putting the fan on high and opening the window made it tolerable. We are most meals there out of necessity and they were fine. There was a percentage off of meals and spa services due to our Expedia booking, This was great, but you had to go to the front desk every time you wanted one (which meant two times a day due to eating so many of our meals there) which seemed like a cumbersome process. One waiter also only gave me and my roommate a 10% discount, but gave our friends a 20% because there was one check. I think the rest gave 20% each time but when I asked him he told me I was wrong. It wasn’t worth fighting about! We’d stay there again! "
