This was a location convenient for my son’s event at Snetterton. We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. All our requests were met without any issues.
Very easy to check in and leave. Nice to have a simple complimentary breakfast. It was much appreciated. Thank you for having the rooms ready early for the family to get ready for the wedding. That was very nice of you 👍 we have family in the area and we hope to stay with you again.
Fantastic find and value for money. Kids loved it it was a mini suite

Great having a pool to swim in morning and evening. Ronnie was very friendly and helpful. Bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very basic but adequate.
Handy location for my business trip, positioned right next to a swimming pool with adult music classes on tho into early evening so couldn’t hear the tv for shouting… not ideal, cold tiled floor too, I guess they followed thru with the flooring.. wasn’t very cosy and probably wouldn’t stay again, sorry.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The bed was comfortable, sleeping area clean, surroundings quiet, room a reasonable size but everything else was exceptionally basic, DIY cobbled together and tired. Floors not level, no underlay on carpet, wires dangling from TV, walls so thin full audio of the TV next door was disturbing, shower curtain falling off, shower itself was a bit of a joke and breakfast more basic than advertised.
Used hotel as a central location for house hunting. Room was clean and well presented - only issue is that the wash basin was little small. The premises - ie pool and restuarant were all clean and the staff/owners were really friendly. Breakfast was as described ie a simple continental and we had no complaints with the hotel.

Disliked: Room comfort
It was a nice location and for the money the room was very nice except and it is a big but - the room was very hot. It was the hottest day of the year but the radiator was on hot and wouldnt turn off, but because there is no reception desk there was no one to tell them.
Also the self service "continental breakfast" was a bit of a stretch of the definition (Apples or oranges, bread, strawberry jam or marmalade and milk, yoghurt, water in the fridge - no croiscants or other pastries, no cold meat/chease.

Disappointed
Nice setting, clean, comfy bed. A lot of flies, coming out of hibernation once heating was on? Spiders x 5. Disappointed with breakfast, freeze dried coffee, no filter, no jam for toast, apples in a bowl. Cereal , 3 choices in a plastic server. Expensive for experience.
Last minute night away , lovely welcome from owner showed us where we could park ,how to get to our room and chatted to us for bit, lovely man. Was about 7:30 pm when arrived so we popped are bags in room and then went local town for food , later after back we went to swimming pool for hour was absolutely lovely sooo warm and inviting spent over hour in there had to ourselves ,back in room we got into comfy beds and watched tv before sleeping , In morning got up early went to sweet little diy breakfast bar in conservatory plenty of choice of drinks hot and cold. And choices of cereals ,toast , yogurts and fruit. Definitely would stay again such a hidden gem truly a beautiful place, thank you
Good things; quiet, comfy bed, bottled water, shower gel & hand wash.
Bad things; car park full, uneven path to room, lack of cleanliness (e.g. hair in both plug holes, used contact lenses from previous occupant had been left on bedside table & carpet not clean), breakfast area not clean with lack of food choices, hot tub broken (we did not know this until the day before we arrived when I asked about it). lack of swimming pool availability, only 1 toilet roll, poor TV signal.
When we arrived, it looked a nice place, ample parking and nice room with comfy bed but certainly not luxury as advertised. Eye level kettle, which I considered dangerous so placed on floor. Dirty shelves and mirror. No welcome pack. When arrived back at night, the light wasn't working to light the dark path back to our room. Paths are crumbling and dangerously uneven. Patio has lots of plant pots filled with dead plants and weeds. Sticky beakfast room table with one thin paper napkin only each. 'continental' breakfast consisted of a choice of 3 careals and toast with apples and oranges. No choice of juice, only orange. Place was generally run down and pooly maintained, will not be returning, pleased we only booked for the one night.
We really enjoyed our stay, once we met the owners they were very welcoming. We were left to get on with breakfast, enjoyed swimming in the pool and there was a lovely garden that the children were encouraged to play in.
Self check in, room ok but basic and tired, tea making facilities in dangerous postion quite high up, at eye level.
Doors to rooms and pool need self closers on as the hum from the pool kept ys awake, and need black out curtains as very light in room from 430am.
Breakfast was very poor cereal toat or yogurt, never saw staff the whole time we was there
I found it quite odd that there was nobody to greet you , no real check in
Room was ok , bed could have been much more comfortable
Quiet peaceful location
I was surprised that there wasn’t any Wi-Fi or air conditioning. When I opened the window to try to get some air flow in the room I was struck by how noisy the fountain in the courtyard was. I then tried the electric fan but this even louder than the fountain. I was there for three days (two nights) and didn’t see a single member of staff. It’s up to the guest to pretty much look after themselves. The area around the hotel is lovely however.
