Room was very tidy and nice, easy check-in great location. Only letdown was the floor in the bathroom hadn’t been swept from previous guests

Located near Nort Shore hospital on a busy intersection nice hotel, good customer service, nice sized rooms, great facilities with good shower and comfortable bed. Good value for money and would stay again.

Really enjoyed our stay at the City of Sails. Friendly receptionists, pleasant to chat with and helpful. Room as tidy and clean, super cosy bed and the jetted spa was just the icing on top of the cake.

The motel is a bit run down and doesnt look like much from the outside. But the room is large with plwnty of space, balcony, couch, table and chairs, desk and kitchenette. The room walls are very thin and unfortunately we had some very inconsiderate neighbours which let the stay down. The water pressure wasnt great but the toiletries supplied were nice. Walking distance to supermarket and eateries.

The facility was adequate. When staff was there, they were friendly; but they were hardly ever there. I looked for them several times and they never seem to come in before I left at 11 or 11:30 AM. And they were never there when I came back at 3:30 or 4:30 PM. There is not enough drawer space in the room to unpack in an organized manner. There are not enough electrical outlets for charging my devices. There is no electrical outlet near the bed so I can’t charge my batteries and use my devices while sitting in bed. There is no clock in the room. I know, I have my devices that tell me what time it is. But because I can’t have my devices near me because they have to be plugged in across the room that doesn’t do me any good at night. Also, a couple of the outlets did not work so I had to move plugs to another outlet. They forgot to clean my room on one of the days I was there. There are supposed to be laundry facilities available to customers. I could see the sign on the room where the laundry facilities are located, but my key did not fit in the lock and I could never find anyone in the office to tell me how to access those facilities. I couldn’t find much within walking distance as far as places to eat.

This property was conveniently located, clean & the beds were very comfortable. We booked a room upstairs as we wanted the spa bath. The spa bath was huge but unfortunately we could not get the jets to work. We would suggest a set of instructions.

The location and size of the room was perfect for a one night stay for a family of five. What was rude was being called after being stuck in traffic saying they were going to close if we didn’t check in by a set time. The. They weren’t even there at check out. Also, milk in fridge was off by a month. Pays to check the small things. No breakfast for the kids as a result.

Lovely unit, really nice that we got upgraded to a spa bath. Just a couple of maintenance needs in the bathroom as the extractor fan doesn't remove the condensation hardly at all and there's grout crumbling out from the tiles. Lovely staff, we feel very well looked after
