Ants, spiders, and mosquitos everywhere despite keeping all doors and windows closed. Amenities provided were only enough for one night, but property requires 3 night minimum. View was good but not worth staying again.

This is a lovely property. We picked it knowing it was more remote than other properties in Waiheke so it’s not for you if you want to be in the thick of it but the main parts are not too far away either (day 15 min drive). The view is lovely and the house is as it appears in the photos. The house was clean, my only comment would be that as self contained accommodation without any washing facilities it required an extra towel per person. We stayed for four nights and one towel for this period is not an industry norm. But aside from this we loved it!

Tranquil Sanctuary

This secluded self-contained cottage had everything we needed for our honeymoon getaway. The sea views were beautiful to wake up to each morning and enjoy throughout the day. Under the stars, the outdoor bath was perfect for creating a romantic evening nestled in the quiet bush. Modern facilities and air conditioning made our stay comfortable and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our family and friends. I booked through Expedia.co.nz and I was pleasantly surprised when our booking was confirmed immediately and the owners contacted us by the following day. A very smooth and easy process. This is quite a find. Enjoy.
