"I think this hotel has the nicest swimming pool and hot tub of any hotel I’ve stayed at. Pool water warm, and the hot tub was nice and hot, with good working jets. I love the tea and coffee in the lobby. Very quiet, comfortable room and bed. I was told by front desk staff that the bar was open , if I needed anything. Nice breakfast in the morning."

8/10 Good
"Very clean. Plenty of space for everyone. We had a larger group and were concerned about the 1 bathroom. We managed to make it work without issues or arguments of anyone taking too much time in the bathroom. The washer and dryer was a nice feature as it allowed us to under pack this year. Had a bit of hiccup with the septic being full at the start of our stay - we were on pins and needles until it got emptied. Would be willing to book again."
"The hotel is not a newer hotel. With that said it’s one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever been in! I tried to find dust because I thought it looks so clean and I could not find any! It’s a small hotel which was nice to get around to the pool breakfast in and out to our car. One of the things I noticed right away was we couldn’t hear anything when we were in our room so many hotels today you can hear your neighbors through the walls. We could not hear a thing. The free breakfast was the typical free breakfast, but I will tell you they kept refilling and there was plenty to eat. We enjoyed our stay very much."
"Beachfront Haven is a hidden gem - right across the street from the lake and convenient to restaurants, bars and shops. We stayed in the two bedroom suite and it was perfect for our group. If you like a retro vibe - with a beautifully renovated and furnished room- this is it. We loved the small and personal aspect of this motel. Beds were comfortable, as was the living room furniture. Towels were new and soft- Aveda products and handmade soap was an unexpected bonus. Loved having a kitchenette and coffee shop on premise. If you are looking for a unique stay and want to avoid the chain hotels- this is it! Lovely staff as well."
