"This is a wonderful place to stay, close to Orleans and within easy reach of both towns and countryside. The gîte was clean, very well equipped and the owner friendly, welcoming and helpful. The villagers were also friendly and forgiving of our French!! The swimming pool at the gîte was a high spot for us all and we swam every day. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here."

"The purpose of our visit was to attend the Django Reinhardt Jazz Festival at Fontainebleau. Fontainebleau is an easy run from Poligny and definitely a place worth exploring. Beautiful countryside and a very relaxed atmosphere. The Gite was comfortable and we enjoyed meals outside in the courtyard under the beautiful ash tree. "As a group of 8 university students we stayed at the cottage for 8 nights. The cottage has everything you could need to make the visit all the more enjoyable and relaxing. From bed linen to kitchen utensils, we never once felt like we were missing something. The beds have a sponge mattress which isn't always to everyone's liking although following a long day of climbing, being able to just sink into that pillow is all the more comforting.
