Lots of books and games available if weather was unfavourable, plenty to keep a 4yr old occupied, but wasn't needed !! A walkers and swimmers paradise. Would thoroughly recommend this property and surrounding area, we'll be back in lovely Aughleam"

Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their hotel and restaurant. We highly suggest staying for a few days to a longer visit based on their service, high standards, and central location. "

"This is the best stay I ever had: gorgeous breakfast, big room with view on sea and mountains, you hear the sea all night you see the stars at night. You have a desk and a round table- we stay 4 days- a double and a single bed. We dreamed looking at the sea when it was too bad to go out, we could walk to the beach when it was nice. The only thing is the check-in: it is between 2 and 5 pm if not arranged otherwise but we didn’t know that all places to eat were closed at 5 pm - we were outside the normal tourist period- so we were quiet hungry the first night!"

"My husband and I stayed here on a day we went to Achill Island. We only stayed one night here. They have a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel, you do have to make a reservation but we were able to easily make a reservation when we arrived to the hotel. We are in the bar area and the food was very good. The view was beautiful. At night our room got pretty chilly and we weren’t able to figure out how to turn the heat up but we were okay. In the morning we decided to sleep in and missed the complimentary breakfast from 8-10. We did however get a pot of coffee to share a little after 10 which was perfect. The showers were very nice and they do provide a shampoo/body wash combination but did not provide conditioner in the room, this was not a big deal for us as I had some of my own. Overall this is a nice hotel and I would go back and stay again. "

"Rooms are a great size and bed very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean and good size. Staff were excellent as was breakfast Would book again."
