"It was a very pleasant stay and the rooms were very clean. Beds were so comfy!!!"

"The hotel advertised breakfast on Expedia. However, when I asked what time breakfast was served, the maintenance/front desk staff told me they have not offered breakfast “in a while.” Check-in was also extremely unorganized. When I arrived, I waited approximately 30–45 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Once the clerk arrived, they had to call the property owner at home to confirm my reservation. I specifically requested a non-smoking king room, but I was initially assigned a smoking room with two queen beds. The room was dirty, and the bedding was old, worn, and torn. The following day, I was moved to a king room, but unfortunately that room also had cleanliness issues—there were visible spider webs hanging from the ceiling, and the bedding was again dirty, with cigarette burns similar to the first room. I was also told the owners are waiting until the Masters to purchase new bedding and make updates. While I understand some properties are independently owned, I have stayed at other Sonesta locations and this experience was far below what I expect from the Sonesta brand. Independently owned or not, Sonesta should not allow a motel/hotel to operate under its brand without thorough vetting and ongoing quality standards."

"Our weekend stay at Deodora was FABULOUS! We were so impressed with how close we were to Augusta National (Masters!) You could walk there. Not to mention it was so close to restaurants and shops. The home was immaculate in cleanliness and details. There was nothing that we needed during our stay that wasn't provided to us. The decor made us feel as though we were in a mix of a Parisian home with elements of southern hospitality, which we absolutely adored. Rose and her team take great pride in creating the perfect get-a-way setting and experience and it shows. The booking process, communication and everything in between with Rose and her team was perfect. We arrived later in the evening, and the home had been opened up for us with lighting, etc., which we appreciated. We had a lovely stay and cannot wait to return. Thank you so much!"

"The host, Adam, was very welcoming and accessible. The place was well maintained, decorated nicely, and had a comforting, homey feeling. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Augusta area. "

"The room smelled overwhelming with bleach. There were what looked like bullet holes in the wall and behind the tv. The window open to help with the overwhelming smell, however the trains and quary trucks filled in the rest of our sound all night! Oh and did I mention the roaches?!?!?! I slept clothed on top of the sheets and “slept” is used loosely! I was told we would be refunded. The gentleman at the front took our information. We booked another hotel immediately. I WOULD LIKE MY REDUND!!!!!! Also maybe a little less bleach and a few roach traps might be good! Only word is um NO! The people were nice! So there is a plus! The Microtel is in need of a little TLC. "
