"We had a fantastic long weekend at Brucoli Mare 2. We were in Sicily for a family wedding. Joe, the host, was amazing. Very flexible about check-in time and super helpful when we had questions. The villa was clean and air-conditioned and had everything we needed. Would definitely flag up that you need your own transport when staying there. Uber doesn't work and local taxis are very expensive. Nearest supermarket 20/25 mins walk away. Loved our stay. Would definitely go back. "

However, The property, while close to the beach, is essentially a windowless box (literally no windows) ; very well-built but uncomfortable to stay in. My friend and I are both medium height and thin. We both thought anyone who is tall or heavy might especially have trouble as the interior space is tight. Important to know that it is in a residential neighborhood with no stores/cafes etc."
