"I’m an American and this was my first time to Romania, and I couldn’t have been more pleased! The hotel is safe, clean and professionally run by extraordinarily competent staff. The size of the rooms was impressively large, if a bit spare, but with a modernist aesthetic. I loved the blackout shades in the windows to catch some sleep because I was jetlagged. Undoubtedly, one of the best aspects of staying here was both the ample and delicious breakfast on the roof every morning, as well as the sizable gymnasium at basement level. Though I did not take advantage of the spa services, my hunch is that they are of very high-quality. I look forward to my return trip and staying there again where I can get a beautiful view of the entire city while eating breakfast each morning!"

"Excellent place to stay if you want to see a lot of Bucharest city and surrounding areas easy access to buses and underground and also Gard Nord HOTEL was small excellent breakfast which was included very clean rooms and excellent service. Anything we asked for was provided even getting up early to go on a 6 am Trip breakfast was left in reception for us including hot coffee. Would definitely recommend it"

"Extremely comfortable hotel an easy walk from the stops for the 100 bus from/to the airport. Very clean and modern with excellent aircon. About 30 mins walk from the old town so nice and quiet despite the weekend traffic and crowds. The garden is a nice shady place for a quiet drink. "
