"This location was wonderful, beautiful views and very convenient to have landing and docking in private, quiet bay behind residence. Bugs were immense outside and needed to be fogged. Holly was available when needed and communicated well. Bedrooms had small beds, but comfortable and clean. Beach was great for kids and swimming. Hot tub on site was not working. Cabin is next door to property owner residence, cameras on property as well. Overall a good experience and would stay again! "

"It was such a cozy, beautiful property. We loved the sauna- it was so clean. I wish we could have stayed longer! It would have been nice to have a picnic table, but in the grand scheme of things that's minor and we made it work. It was a wonderful couple days relaxing."

"Very private quiet relaxing stay. Enjoyed fishing and seeing the local sites even some bears just down the road. Deer right outside the cabin went to Ely and enjoyed the museums restaurants and shops. We will be back again and do more fishing next trip"

"The cabin is adorable, and so close to many activities. We enjoyed Bear Head State Park and several attractions in Ely, as well as the sauna on the property. We had one issue but the host was great at communicating and it worked out. We're so happy to have found this location!"

"Very much enjoyed my stay at this charming rustic island cabin on a gorgeous lake. The dock and decks by the lake were great for water sports and hanging out. Sunsets on the point were a highlight. Would definitely stay here again. "

"We had a ski race at Giants Ridge and this was a perfect place to stay. It was a short drive and the hot tub/sauna were wonderful to come back to after a cold day of skiing. Would definitely recommend!"

"Jeff and Kathy were great hosts for our fishing trip on Vermilion. Their cabin has been remodeled and is very modern and clean with a nice gradual walk down to the dock. It has all the modern conveniences including a gas grill. The boat lift on the dock was a great added feature with no worry about the wind if it comes up. Kathy even brought over a banana bread that was fantastic. Highly recommend and will be coming back on a future fishing trip."
