The location is very convenient, close to the bus stop and train. This was our first experience with a WhatsApp check-in and code entry, which was a pleasant surprise. "We absolutely loved the White Horse Inn. It’s chic and elegant, but also deeply authentic and connected to the history of St. Wolfgang. The hotel has nearly 500 years of history, with paintings, photographs and little references to its past throughout. It really feels like a destination hotel and part of the history of the area. There are so many little things that make it feel special and upscale without being too stuffy. We loved the live piano at breakfast on Saturday, the pools and saunas, the boutique-resort feel, and of course the breathtaking beauty of the lake and mountains. One note for American travelers: Austrian service can feel more reserved and less overtly accommodating than what we’re used to in the US. Once we adjusted to that cultural difference, it felt very much part of the experience — professional and traditional rather than overly solicitous. One tip: rooms with AC are the more recently updated rooms, so I’d choose one of those if you prefer a more contemporary room. Such a beautiful, memorable place — luxurious, full of character, and completely unique to St. Wolfgang."

Breakfast was good with a nice selection. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily stay here again."

"Lovely, clean hotel with beautiful views from the balcony. We had a great stay and can only say positive things. The only thing to note is that once you’ve ordered breakfast, you still have to pay even if you decide to skip it for a day. The pizzeria next door is also really delicious. Overall, a very good stay!"
