"We stayed one night. In 350 meters you can be in the medieval city. Travel 50 meters down the hill, turn on the path and you are there. Such a perfect location. Paul was great and easy to communicate with. We had a lovely dinner at the Sarl le Creneau and saw Remparts et Lumieres at night. We had a wonderful day exploring the village during the day. We would definitely come back and stay again."

"The property is typical french quirky and generally enjoyable - since the house is 17th century we can forgive the dim lights and basic electrics. The sewage issue (day 2) was sorted very quickly - this can happen anytime and communications with the manager were very quick. The excellent Comptoir restaurant next door (book ahead) is a real bonus and the boulangerie and convenience store were great too. "The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "
