5BR+/4BA Waterfront Family Retreat sleeps 12 comfortably.

This 5-BR, 4-BA Waterfront Townhome in Point Venture featuring 3 Lakeside Decks and a Private Boat Dock on beautiful Lake Travis is the ideal retreat for family and friends. (***See note at end regarding the lake level.) Comfortably sleeps 12 in 3 Master suites with king beds, 1 queen bedroom, 1 room with 2 twin beds and a TV room with a day-bed with a trundle for an additional 2 twins. We will accept up to 15 guests with additional fee over 12 guests. But, please note we only have beds for 12. An inviting décor created to compliment lakeside living and family fun includes Internet access, 5 Smart TV's accessing YouTube TV (including a 55" HDTV and Blu ray player on main level), a fully-equipped kitchen and utility room, a game room complete with a ping-pong table and numerous board games, wood burning fireplace and a gas grill.
Neighborhood amenities include a 9-hole golf course, Tennis courts, Pickle Ball courts, Jr. Olympic sized swimming pool , exercise room in the club house, private 50 acre lakeside park with Frisbee Golf course, picnic tables, covered pavilion, play ground, basketball court, Volley Ball sand pit, (bring your own balls) boat ramps, and plenty of beautiful oak trees and deer. Plus, at the Marina there is the Captain Pete's BoatHouse Floating Restaurant & Fuel Dock and Liquid Thrilz boat Rentals.
In short, this home has it all!
*** NOTE: We are in a cove and susceptible to Lake Travis' fluctuating water levels. As of right now (May 29, 2024) the water level is 633.07 Water is at the end of our dock at about 663 and the dock will be fully floating at about 670. But when we don't have water at our dock the private park is a wonderful place to access the lake.
***NOTE: While the neighborhood does not require any access card, the private park within the neighborhood does require an access card. One car per access card (2 cards are provided) will be able to enter the private Point Venture Park. Another words; you can not shadow in behind someone who has an access card to enter the park.
*** NOTE: Currently our neighborhood pool is restricting access to the pool to 4 guests per access card (2 are provided).

Best hosts in Point Venture
Our youngest child turned 18 and to celebrate him and his next chapter in life, we wanted to go to a familiar favorite- Lago Vista area on Lake Travis. We were thrilled to have stumbled on this place; Ricki and Mary are excellent communicators and enhanced our experience with the tips and responsiveness! The home was clean, comfortable, and lots of room to spread out. We loved the 70’s vibe! The location was perfect in the community- just a few steps from the pool and near the marina. The lake was too low to enjoy their dock, but I can imagine that when it’s high enough, it’s a short and easy path to water. Check in was so easy, the surrounding neighbors were kind, and the balconies and views were serene at night. Great spot - will be back!

Easy check in. Everything worked out great. We had to really look for the check out instructions, but found them under "damages". There wasn't water in this finger of the lake, but that was okay (and the owners told us upfront about it). Lots of stairs, lots of bathrooms!

Great Point Venture Townhome
Eight family members enjoyed our stay during the 2024 Eclipse. The home was well kept and comfortable with all the kitchen facilities we needed for our group. Short walk to pool gym dock and restaurant. Hosts were very easy to work with. Glad we came!

Fantasy Football Draft Weekend
Our families came from several cities in Texas to visit and get the kids and grandkids together. We also had our 8th Annual Fantasy Football Draft too. The home accommodated all of us. The pingpong table was a big hit with the kids. The AC kept up with the Texas heat and we enjoyed both the front and back porches. The deer sightings were a real treat too. Overall it was a great Labor Day weekend.

Beautiful spacious home
This is our second time back to this home and we fall in love with it more every time. It is big and spacious for our large family. The neighborhood has amazing views and is really quiet and private. The hosts are great at communicating with you. They are very helpful and their response time is great.

Family reunion
This is a lovely house with plenty of room for 10 adults and 2 toddlers plus newborn baby. The kitchen is well stocked. The card key passes to all of the Club amenities came in handy because although there was no water for the house’s back yard dock, there were plenty of other activities like swimming, pickle ball and tennis to keep us occupied. The ping pong table downstairs is a great bonus, especially on a hot summer afternoon when you need to stay in the AC! A minor drawback is that there is no backyard to play in - instead there are 3 decks which are nice but not toddler friendly for active play. There is a great private park with a playground and sandy beach but you need to drive to it. Also lots of deer roam freely - lovely to see them graze.

Townhome on the lake
This place is decorated very well AND comfortable. We didn’t want for anything. Kitchen well stocked. Plenty of towels. Tissue boxes in each room. Games. Sitting areas all over the property. Also the place was very clean. The neighborhood was quiet. There’s a great restaurant down the street. Truly the food was yummy. Communication with the owner was easy. Very nice people.

Great Quiet Getaway for Family Time
My family loved staying at this lake house in Point Venture. The bedrooms across three levels and many bathrooms were perfect for my group which included age ranges from 3 to 93. The lower level was great for the kids to head to bed early and the main level made it easy for the older folks in the group to avoid stairs. The amenities close by, including the gym and park, were enjoyed by all ages. I was also traveling with my two black labs and there were lots of great walking trails nearby for them to enjoy. The house itself was comfy, the neighborhood quiet, and the kitchen was well appointed for cooking and brewing coffee for a large group. While the cove happened to be dry during our visit following the bad drought in 2022, that didn't stop us from enjoying the multi-tier deck and the sunrise views. We would definitely stay here again for our next lakeside getaway.

Perfect space for a relaxed weekend
We rented this venue for a weekend of board gaming with friends. This condo has an amazing mix of spaces both inside and out that provide options for group or individual hang outs. Be aware that when the lake is low you have to walk a ways to the water, but that wasn't our focus anyway. We had a great time!

Fantastic Property with Plenty of Space
Ricki was phenomenal in her pre-arrival service and made herself available regularly. The property was exactly as advertised with plenty of space for me, my wife, 2 kids, parents and my uncle. There are terraces/balconies on each floor providing an opportunity to get away and is within walking distance of Lake Travis. We will definitely book mark her property in hopes we can stay here again.

Great place!
Short weekend trip for my birthday. House could use updates in a few places but some of the nostalgic items were a nice touch. Overall great place, would have been nice if the water had been at the dock but we knew about that prior to going out there. All in all a great time. Lots of stairs!

Perfect in every way!
I rented Ricki’s home for my family who was in town for my wedding. They all could not stop raving about the place! Perfect size, decor, location, everything! It’s got such a comfortable, homey feel to it and right on the water! Ricki as a host is also perfect! Accommodating, responsive, very friendly, and does everything to make sure your stay is perfect. Would definitely book again and will be recommending this property to anyone else wanting to stay in the area.

Perfect VRBO for 60th Wedding Anniversary
The condo on Lake Travis was very clean, well furnished and thoroughly enjoyable for our three day stay. The lake being at very low levels right now hindered any water activity from the boat dock, but not much can be done about that (the lake level had receded over 100 yds from the dock).
