Our charming apartment is located near University of Texas in a lively eclectic neighborhood with many excellent restaurants,coffee houses, bars,entertainment, grocery & liquor store only within blocks. Perfect launching pad for your Austin adventure! Few min walk to famous 6th St.
You’ll love the neighborhood, the comfy beds, the outdoors space. Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families, and furry friends (pets). A taste of urban living in a quiet area.
One bedroom with 1 Queen beds and 1 twin futon in living room. Luxurious sheets. One bathroom with towels. Cozy living room with flat screen TV, and free high speed internet. Perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Austin. Our vacation rental is protected by e-locks. In other words, NO KEYS NO HASSLE! Prior to your stay we simply email you a unique code that works for your reservation only. If your flight lands at midnight, your check in is not going to be a problem.

Bus stop steps away. Few minutes walk to Downtown, 5 minute walk to grocery store and restaurants. Cheap taxi/Uber/Lyft ride to downtown. 15-20 minute drive to the airport (8 miles).
1 mile walk from shuttle to ACL or simply 1.5 mile walk to entry door at Zilker Park for ACL!

Biking is a very popular way to get around within Clarksville and the nearby areas. There are so many restaurants and attractions nearby, that for some Clarksville residents, walking is an easy way to get the area.
If you prefer to ride the bus, Capital Metro Route 9 passes through Clarksville.
Additionally, you can use Austin B-Cyle, a bicycle sharing/renting business.; your first trip is free!

Easy and Clean Stay

The pictures look just like the property. The outside was old looking and the inside decor could be a bit better. Overall the stay was comfortable and clean (one of the beds mattresses could be changed). It was a decent drive to all of our activities. The host was responsive and helped us with any questions. I’ll give it a solid 7/10!

good location, close to Austin

Good, but the road noise on Enfield was horrible and not really mentioned. Bedroom AC cycled on and off so loudly it woke you up - needs replacing which then would have helped with road noise. AC in main area worked great and was quiet..

Great Place. Close to UT Campus

The set up was exactly like the picture. I would have preferred a small desk to sit at versus the kitchen counter (laptop), but that is just a personal preference. Easy to work with the Property Manager on adding an additional night.

Perfect for visiting UT daughter!

This location is ideal for being close to downtown and being within close reach of the downtown HEB for groceries to cook in the cozy kitchen to feed our large family. The beds were a little lumpy but fine for a few nights. Also, if you want a quiet neighborhood it might not be the best. It’s a VERY busy street right outside but other than that. It was perfect for a weekend getaway to visit our daughter in college. The host is very communicative and accommodating!

Fantastic Location

This property is located in a wonderful part of Austin. Some nice restaurants and coffee shops are just a short walk away, and it's easy to get into downtown via Uber or scooter. The apartment was clean and well stocked with everything we needed, and the host provided very clear directions for check-in.

Great location, uncomfortable beds

The host was very communicative and accomodating. The location was perfect and close to everything Austin has to offer. The bed in living room was comfy, by my friends complained that one of the "queens" in the bedroom was extremely uncomfortable, with them falling through the middle, and having to sleep sideways or diagonally.

Great place, but was charged for damage we didn't cause

I am really bummed about having to write this review. When my friends and I stayed there, we had a lovely time. Location was good, the place was clean-- we had no issues with the property itself. Before arriving, the host was very communicative and gave us all the information we could have needed. It was very thorough, which I appreciated. On the first night, one of the neighbors was noisy and kept us up. The next morning, I had a message from the host telling us to keep it down or else next time the police would be called. I clarified that it wasn't us, but understood why the host thought it could have been us. She noted that we didn't do it and that was that. The day we left, I received an email that we were being charged $200+ for damage to the futon. We barely used the futon-- only to quickly sit on to put shoes on, so clearly I was confused as to what could have been wrong. I asked the host for a photo of the damage, and the photo just showed normal wear and tear of an older futon. I unfortunately had to submit a claim with VRBO to fight the charge. Ultimately, we had a great time and enjoyed the stay, but I would not recommend as we were charged for damage we did not cause and a few weeks later, I'm still having to fight it through VRBO.

Great!

Great stay. The location is perfect. We enjoyed the walks in the hood, nearby restaurants and the place was perfect for our family and dog. We loved sitting out the balcony for dinner and drinks. Will def book again!

not as expected

It is dark and old and there is no place to work on a computer. Systems have not been updated so must use two space heaters, one of which didn't work. TV system was unuseable--all we could get was reruns from the 70's...so no netflix or even cable news etc...and when I tried to reach owner it took two days for her to get back to me--note saying not to use the garbage disposal, which made things difficult--no recycle bin...everything goes in trash--there was no broom to sweep up crumbs etc...all in all I would NOT stay there again!!!

Great location

This vrbo was very close to everything we wanted to do in Austin. Our longest drive was 15 minutes! It's very cute, but it is located upstairs which was fine for our group but may be difficult for other travelers. The code for the door made check in super easy and we didnt have to keep track of a key. Our only real disappointment was it took us until the last day to realize the microwave was also the oven, but even if we would have realized sooner the cake pan we wanted to use didnt fit inside the opening. My only advice is to bring extra towels if you need them. We had 6 people in our group but there were only 5 towels. The sink and tub were slow to drain but it didnt hinder us from using them, just have to be a little patient! All in all we had a great trip and I would book here again! Thank you for having us as your guest and we look forward to booking with you again in the future.

Austin with the family

Great place in Austin. Very nice neighborhood. Ample parking. Comfy beds and nice outdoor seating areas. Definitely recommended.

Nice place to stay for a girls weekend!

We had a lovely time at this apartment over the weekend. We were all able to sleep 6 comfortably (with sharing beds) and the accomodations were clean and tidy. Grocery store, coffee shops, and restaurants all in walking distance. A 10 minute Uber to just about anywhere in Austin. The kitchen was nice and updated, with a coffee maker for the mornings. The AC units are a bit loud but we got used to it during the evenings. Easy place to stay!

Comfy and convenient

We were very comfortable at this location during our stay. There were three other rentals in the entire unit but we hardly noticed. The kitchen was well stocked. It has a cute porch to sit out on in the mornings and have coffee. You can walk easily to a grocery store. We took Ubers most everywhere we went and they were short and inexpensive. Parking would be easy if you rented a car as well. I would definitely stay here again!
