This is a sweet little house that can pack a lot of people in it. The layout is a bit unconventional, but happened to work well for us. The deck and pool is so nice - beautiful shade trees and an incredible view, with space for a lot of people. The high points were clean, but it was clear that no one has gotten in the corners in a long time. The walls, baseboards and corners were, quite frankly, disgusting, thick with stains, dust, dirt and grime.

Great stay

The prooerty is nice and the pool is great with a beautiful view. Quiet and safe neighborhood. There are grocery stores nearby and shopping in Cedar Park isn't far. The inside of the home was clean and decorated nicely. The outside was a bit disheveled but could gave partially been due to the rain.I would stay here again.

A home away from home

We wanted a relaxing spring break to enjoy with our kids. We found this house, and what convinced us was the pool with that view. This house did not disappoint. The house has a great outdoor space and the neighborhood is very quiet. This house is equipped with what you need to have a great time. Plenty of room inside for everyone and has a great layout for you to enjoy the view from inside the home or outside. My kids enjoyed the pool so much, and we really liked the privacy of this home. We will definitely consider coming back.

A TREAT!

The overall stay was fantastic, we absolutely loved the patio and got full use of the pool. Also, the view cannot fully be captured in photos. If you’re here reading this review, there’s no reason to go any further. The space was enough for the 6 people we had plus there were trundles and could have slept more. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the entire space, we usually go to places and have to clean but not at this spot. Highly recommended, we will be back to this house with a view. Thank you!!

Beautiful & Relaxing property!

All my family was in love with the property and specially the view!!! The weather was perfect during our stay which allow us to enjoy the back patio and pool to the fullest! Walking trails extremely close. A great outdoor experience. Kitchen was well equipped, and sleeping space was perfect. We will definitely rent again in the future!

Loved the house, beautiful view, pool was warm and clean. Saw some foxes and deer right outside the property. Would definitely recommend staying! Only complaint were the showers were hard to control temp, which wasn’t a big deal for us. Thanks for a beautiful week!

Girls Weekend

Four of us girlfriends traveled from WI and SC to have a long weekend together. The accommodations were good, great location, quiet neighborhood. While some things outside could use some attention they did not impact our stay. We all had a wonderful weekend, the check in and check out process was very easy.

Overall the stay here was great. Communication to begin with was strange, needing to verify our identity a number of time but once that was done we had all the information we needed up front. The house was more run down than anticipated. Clearly a rental. Lawn was not cut, they told us someone was coming to clean the pool but never did. Canopy fabric was ripped and flopping all over. Pool floaties were thrown on the patio in a pile. The pool jets turned off at night and could not figure out how to turn the pool lights on. The driveway is STEEP! We were asked to bring down the garbage which would have been very difficult so we kept it up top. Nothing overly bad by any means and the view makes up for most things. Easy check out process.

Great Family Celebration!

We were very happy to see that this property was just as beautiful as the photos suggested. We spent most of our time on the covered patio or in the pool, or just admiring the fantastic view of the hills and Lake Travis. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating and table space for games and meals. We saw fox and deer, and lots of birds. We would definitely return to Lago Vista and the Pool with a View!

Ladies Weekend

My family tries to get together once a year. It’s all women and we age from 87 to 60. You never know what will happen so while we can we try to do this every year. The house was great and the view was beautiful.

Pool with a view

Pool was fantastic, comes with a view! We encountered a few issues and property management was attentive. There is one TV, none in the bedrooms. Some fans need to be replaced in one of the bedrooms, quite noisey but it’s an easy replacement/ investment by owner to be made. Outdoor area needs some love but we would stay here again.

Beautiful view! Backyard fun!

My husband, my ten-year-old daughter, and I had a great time at this house! The backyard pool and views were fantastic! The house itself is older, but we were comfortable for the five days we spent here. The cleaning could have been better, but I will share that I'm incredibly picky about cleanliness. If you are not, you will be fine here! The driveway into the house is STEEP! The bedrooms do not have TVs in them! All in all, we had a good time. For the cheap price, the house is worth it!

Great House & Great View : Pool area needed attention

My husband and I along with another couple visited the property for Memorial day weekend. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood, nestled into the hillside amidst cedars and live oak trees. We were decidedly enamored with the view. It was truly a magnificent location for a pool and patio weekend. The deck and covered patio met the shade of live oak trees and the pool was perfectly positioned for a canyon view of the lake. We found the house in tip top shape - very clean and well appointed with all the basics. The decor was aesthetically pleasing and the views from the living and dining/open kitchen were wonderful as well. When we arrived the pool was dirty and the property manager sent someone out to vacuum and clean it the following morning. It still could have used some chemical to get it crystal clean. Additionally there was deferred maintenance in the landscaping around the pool i.e., weeds, debris on the sidewalks and decking, fresh mulch needed, etc. We had to overlook this while enjoying the view.

Sorry, but we are very disappointed with our experience. The main goal of our trip was to be able to get into the swimming pool.

We would love to give a better review, but frankly, we were very disappointed. The sole purpose of our getaway was to enjoy the swimming pool. The day we arrived the pool looked very murky and there was debris on the bottom of the pool. We’ve been told that the pool is maintained on Mondays but it didn’t look like it. So we waited till the next day and then a pool man showed up and said that he had to shock the pool and that we’d be unable to use it for 6 to 12 hours. Second day lost for swimming. the final day the water was still cloudy from the treatment so we didn’t venture in. After my stroke and several back surgeries, the only time I feel relief is when I’m in the water. So it was doubly disappointing. The view was nice. the home is fine, except it really could use some TLC. we generally give glowing reviews of the properties where we stay, but I just can’t this time. I wish I could.

Beautiful Weekend Getaway
