  • The Cottage @ Georgetown Square was built in 1940 and since has been completely renovated. This cozy Cottage is ideal for a romantic getaway in the heart of the historical district of Old Town Georgetown. It's only a few blocks away from the most beautiful Town Square in Texas, where you will find bakeries, wineries, restaurants, shops, and bars. Enjoy a short walk to the San Gabriel Park or the Blue Hole. You can also go hiking and biking on trails along the San Gabriel River. And, you may enjoy watching a live performance at The Palace Theater or go to the Art Museum on the square.

The Cottage at Georgetown Square was a lovely place to stay. The town is charming and the ability to walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and boutiques was so convenient. Debra’s home is comfortable and clean with everything you might need. Checking in and out was very simple. Thank you so much Debra for such a warm and inviting place to stay in Georgetown! Perfect location.

We enjoyed our experience in working with Debra; she was very attentive when we reached out. This was the perfect location to walk to the town square as well as to the San Gabriel River walkway (which was so nice). If able, we would definitely stay here again.

Highly, highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed here to check out Georgetown. The house is excellent, and the host has paid attention to every detail. The house is walkable to the downtown square and river pathways. We'd definitely stay here again.

Outstanding Cottage

My wife and I love the Christmas Stroll in Georgetown and this cottage. This is our second year staying here and the cottage is perfect for walking to the town square or spending time playing games after a long day shopping the various vendors. We know we will be back and this is the place to stay.

Great location

My friends and I had a wonderful time at the cottage. It had everything we needed and was comfortable. The weather was lovely so we spent quite a bit of time on the back patio. It was perfect for our weekend of catching up!

Quiet neighborhood

I enjoyed the property and the quiet and safe feeling neighborhood. It was very close to the downtown area with shopping and restaurants in walking distance. Debra checked in to guarantee that my stay was going well. I would stay again if in the area. I made a friend that hung out on the window screen!

Wedding weekend

We loved our stay! Debra was so responsive and kind. She provided us with wine, fruit, flowers, coffee and more! The house was so cute and clean and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. Hands down the best house we have ever stayed in on vacation. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent location

My wife & I have stayed here several times, because the host is wonderful, the location in a historic neighborhood of cute bungalows is only 3 walkable blocks to one of the best downtown squares in Texas. The house itself is small, but perfect for a couple or a couple with 1 child. The furnishings are quality, including luxury towels and linens. The central A/C works great and the shower has awesome pressure.

Charming Cottage

This was our 2nd year in a row to stay at this charming cottage and we loved it even more. Everything we needed was there. I even took pictures of the shampoo and such so I could buy it for my home. We love spending our Anniversary in this cottage. I cannot wait to go back next year. Thank you for such a lovely stay.

Just Amazing

My wife and I stayed here for a long 4 day weekend. It was way more than we expected. The cottage was an easy walk to the downtown square and it was exceptionally clean. It also had everything we could expect and more in a place to stay. The food in the square was very good and I strongly recommend the meatballs at Juliet Italian Kitchen.

Loved staying at this lovely cottage! Debra was an amazing hostess. Great location very close to the square and walking distance to Southwestern. Our daughter is a senior and we wish we found Debra's cottage 4 years ago when our daughter was a freshman. I highly recommend for a couple or family with 1-2 kids. My mother in law joined and it was a perfect and comfortable place to stay.

Excellent Stay

The Cottage @ Georgetown Square was the perfect space for our long weekend in Georgetown. It is located just a few blocks from the Square but tucked away on a quiet street. The host, Debra, has taken care of all the little details that make for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We especially enjoyed having a cup of coffee while relaxing on the front porch swing each morning. The cottage is within walking distance of great restaurants and shops, as well as the walking trails along the San Gabriel River. We would definitely stay here again!

Another Excellent Stay!

The Cottage @ Georgetown Square never disappoints. This was our second time staying at the Cottage and it was just as wonderful as the first time! The host, Debra, again took care of all the little details to ensure that our stay was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. She’s simply a wonderful host who knows how to take care of people. The cottage is located perfectly, just a few blocks from the Square within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops that downtown Georgetown has to offer. Walkable Georgetown

My college bestie and I spent a lovely weekend at The Cottage @ Georgetown Square. We were able to walk to Southwestern for the homecoming events and the square for fun shopping and delicious meals. The Cottage was clean, well appointed, and perfect for us. Our host was friendly and easy to communicate with. She texted to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. I look forward to returning with my husband and my daughter.
