"It’s always nice staying in a historical house in town. The people are super nice and it’s convenient to downtown (not much open on the weekend). The front lobby area is picturesque. Pool looked nice but did not try it. To be fair, it’s a nicely kept historical property with large rooms. It’s not The Plaza. Easy parking. We were very pleased."
"We really enjoyed our stay at the Pine Creek Treehouse! It's a rustic cabin with modern amenities in an unbelievable location right on the bank of Pine Creek. The view from the deck was incredible, and the screened in porch was our favorite part. It was perfect for dinner and just relaxing and listening to the creek or the rain. We also loved the private access right to Pine Creek. The town of Wellsboro was 15 minutes away with restaurants, shops, a supermarket and pharmacy. Colton point state park was also 15 minutes away and the Ole Covered Wagon Tour was maybe 10 minutes away. It was very convenient being close to rt. 6 as we were able to quickly go west to explore Galeton and Coudersport. We will definitely stay again!"
"The house had everything we needed for our three night stay. The weather went down into the 60s overnite so we really didn’t need to use the window AC units but if it got warm during the day they worked great. We especially enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit for smores one night. Very quiet area and a good location for access to the parks and the rail trail and Wellsboro. Some others mentioned road noise as the house is right next to route 6 but we didn’t find it to be a problem, especially if you run a fan. The host is very responsive if you have any questions. We had a great trip!"
Country cabin for two near Pine Creek within minutes to area attractions!
10/10 Excellent
"We had a very pleasant stay! The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us, cozy and very clean. Great hosts! We would love to stay here again in the future."
"My family had a great 5 nights at Bear Trail Lodge. Check in was very easy, it was clean, beautiful inside and out. The scenery was incredible, my kids drive down to Prouty Park which was about a 5 minute drive to do some hiking. The pond on the property has little sunny’s which were biting nonstop. We weren’t sure where to go for fishing otherwise. The closest convenience store was about 1/2 hour away, so make sure you bring everything you need. All the necessities were provided and it was nice having a washer and dryer. I 100% would recommend BTL to everyone and hopefully we’ll be back!"

What are vacation rentals like in Austin?
Vacation rentals are privately owned accommodations you can book for several days or longer in Austin. Vacation rentals feature amenities like WiFi and washers and dryers so you'll feel just like you're staying in your own home. If you're concerned about a clean environment, vacation rentals can offer a sense of safety away from shared hotel elevators and lobbies packed with people while still allowing you the excitement and enjoyment of travel. You'll also find more space in a vacation rental than in a traditional hotel, which makes a vacation rental a great choice for a family trip.
