"Phone reception in tge room was vety patchy. Bed was comfortable, bathroon great, loved the rail in the shower Central to all I needed to walk to."

" This historic and elegant hotel is conveniently located. There's a lively and reasonably priced Italian restaurant below. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The indoor pool is nice, but it's not heated, so it was too cold for me to swim in. There's also no complimentary drinking water in the rooms. But overall, it's a wonderful hotel that I'm very satisfied with, and highly recommend it."

"I was very happy with my stay at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. I had an issue with my first room and when I brought it to Guest Relations management’s attention, I was helped quickly and was moved to a different room with kindness and compassion. I very much appreciated that. My room was beautiful and was very comfortable. I had room service and while the menu is a tad on the expensive side, there was a great variety of food and drinks. I checked in on a day that was 37°C and it was wonderful going into a room that was well air conditioned. The staff I interacted at all stages of my stay were kind, friendly and a joy to be around. It was great that the metro station was only a few minutes away which made it easier to get around the city."

"Amazing stay as always. It was just a quick overnight stay for a work function. I brought my 16 year old daughter and this would be maybe our fifth or sixth stay now. Didn't get the best view this time but it rained so it's ok. The mattress and pillows were super luscious though ! We didn't use any amenities this time like the breakfast or rooftop bar as it really was a flying visit. I love the convenience into town and short drive back to the motorway."

"Took my five year old son for a two night staycay. Really enjoyed the convenience of the location to shopping, restaurants, public transport and events in the area. Hotel was really beautiful and staff so wonderful - especially one of the doormen, who would high five my son every time we came in. Brekky was great and the pool was lovely. Only negative when we visited, was the poolside and in room dining app wasn’t working, however staff were able to accommodate by taking verbal orders. Only thing with the pool area, is you had to wait for staff to come out, as I couldn’t leave my 5 year old in the pool area alone - but I’m sure this is something that is being worked on, as staff were testing it when we were there. But we absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend this hotel!!!"

"Was in Melbourne for a concert and to see family so spent very little time in the hotel. Loved location and size of the room. Renovation had obviously been done some years ago, but quality of finishes used was very good. Would definitely stay again for a longer trip"
