"Hotel is all right but is very bare with minimal amenities. Remember to bring your own tissue, hair conditioner. Note also that there are no coffee or tea making facilities in the room or in common areas. The lamp, air-con and telephone in our first room didn’t work. They were kind enough to change our room. Room is clean, nice beds, bathroom is modern and clean with good shower. "

The staff at Crunia were very helpful - the receptionist provided suggestions for dinner, shared information about the public transport system, and she arranged a very early (0430) cab ride for us to the airport. "We've been traveling for weeks now and had 3 nights in A Coruna at the Doubletree. Best stay we've had the entire trip! The room was beautifully decorated and quiet which is a must for us. The motorized black out curtains were a pleasant surprise and very effective. The gratis mini bar was well stocked and maintained. The only complaint is the onsite parking. Wow is that tight! I believe we were supposed to let a valet park for us but that was not communicated and only discovered after reading reviews on other sites. Regardless, we'll stay here again when we visit."

"The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. The bathroom itself was fine, but the amenities were disappointing. Although they were technically new and unopened, they looked as if they had been handled by many people before. It seemed the cleaner hadn’t replaced them in a long time, which gave the hotel a cheap impression. The kitchen closed at 10:00 pm, and when I arrived at 10:15 pm, there was no option to eat at the hotel. Instead, the staff suggested I download a delivery app and order food myself. In Spain, where late dining is common, this was quite surprising and inconvenient."
