Overall we had a lovely stay here but guests should know that the “river view” is blocked by trees in the summer, so it’s not worth paying extra for that! Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, bed was comfortable. Room was a bit dark and needs new carpet. Close to old town and an easy walk from the train station so it was a good location for us. Enjoyed many walks along the river.

The front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly during our entire stay. Their recommendations for restaurants were spot on. Agathe, Camille and Anais made us feel at home at all times. The room was clean. Breakfast was very good too. Can’t complain.

 Concernant la chambre, la vue sur le fleuve est avant tout sur une route, que la chambre que nous avions avait une moquette usĂ©e jusqu’à la corde me paraĂźt trĂšs limite pour un 4* Concernant l’accueil et le petit dĂ©jeuner, rien Ă  redire, un personnel trĂšs sympathique et professionnel. L’hĂŽtel est proche de tout, il lui manque juste un petit rafraĂźchissement.

We enjoyed our stay at Le Maxime. The hotel was easy to find, the staff was welcoming and pleasant to chat with. The path along the River, just across the street, is excellent for running walking and biking. We would definitely return to this property.

Great staff helped us in many ways including aids us to locate a pharmacy to purchase a walker as the one we had got lost at the airport. Also the breakfast was outstanding and well worth the price. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

De nĂŠgter at tĂŠnde for varmen

Detter var mit 4. og sidste ophold hos Maxime. Vi er kommet 3 gange fÞr i uge 1 eller 2 af Äret, hver gang har vi hygget os meget. Men denne gang mÄtte vi tage afsted efter kun 1 overnatning. Der er ALT for koldt og deres varme er der ikke tÊndt for, det fÞrste vÊrelse var koldt og fugtigt, det nÊste var mÄske 16 grader. Radiatoren stod pÄ max i 4 timer, uden at blive varm. Det er tydeligt at de har reguleret trykket fra centralt sted, sÄ der ikke kan komme varme nok pÄ. Receptionisten mente: "der skal nok komme varme" -men det gjorde der ikke. En anden anmeldelse fra oktober 2024 klagede ligedes over manglende varme, 3 mÄneder efter er der stadig koldt. Jeg sov i min strikkede sweater. Et forhenvÊrende fremragende hotel, i en by jeg elsker, har valgt spare gÊsterne vÊk. Jeg kommer gerne igen, hvis de fikser varmen, derfor de 2 stjerner.

Supplément "Vue sur le fleuve" et sur la route...

Il ets dommage que la chambre "supérieure" avec vue sur le fleuve soit facturée plus chÚre, puisqu'elle donne aussi directement sur la route qui sépare l'hotel du fleuve et qui est trÚs passante ... Si j'avais su j'aurais privilégié le calme à la vue sur fleuve

Déçu, une chambre ou rien ne fonctionnait et surtout assez dégradé. Pour finir une odeur dans celle ci de la limite de raisonnable, odeur de tabac et cigare. Malgré une super équipe, il ne trouve aucune solution pour changer la chambre, franchement un prix trop élevé et ne mérite pas pour un 4 étoiles !
