Very peaceful location in a small, quiet village but within a short drive/ easy access of the surrounding areas. Plenty to see and do within an hours drive or less. "Excellent stay at the property. It was very clean and tidy with everything that we would need for a night's stay before contuining south. The grounds are secured by gates. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, with great restaurant recommendations. We will definitely return. "

"Whilst we only had a very quick one night stay here en route to Paris we would definitely recommend this lovely hotel. We were very late checking in but this wasn’t an issue and the owners even told us to get some food at a neighbouring village before coming to check in. When we arrived we were shown to a lovely big room with comfy beds and a great big shower. We were quickly asleep. In the morning we had fresh bread and croissants for breakfast with orange juice and fresh coffee which was a lovely start to the day. "

"Such an unusual hotel. What a wonderfully warm welcome even though we arrived about an hour earlier than the advised check-in time. Beautifully clean rooms. Compact but everything you could possibly need. The only disappointment was the bar and restaurant beong closed on our visit (Monday). Apparently this is the case on Sundays and Mondays although that was not clearly advertised on the site I booked through. Would still highly recommend."
