Fantastic for those who appreciate period property. Lovely breakfast with homemade yogurts/jams & high quality restaurant which seemed very popular with the locals."

"The manager was very polite & helpfu and the property was clean & well maintained but it was on an industrial estate which was a disappointmemnt and made the whole place feel down-market. I was woken in the morning by the housekeeping vacuuming the room next door and the corridors at 8:30, which made me feel like I was an inconvenience to them. Sorry but I wouldn't stay there again."

We were met at the property, given all the details about the cottages and throughout, our hosts stayed in touch and were extremely helpful in providing information about eating out and activities in the area. The accommodation was extremely comfortable, well appointed and lacked for nothing. In short, we had a wonderful time and will certainly consider booking again without hesitation."

The location is wonderfully scenic and quiet and Thomas as host was brilliant - helpful and on hand to help manage the pool and share info about local activities and possible trips/places to visit.
