"Property could use a deep cleaning. It is obvious that it gets the basics done regularly but really could use a deep cleaning. The layout is very "cozy". The listing leads you to believe there is a sofa bed but in fact the sofa just extends to a full size futon. I asked the manager if beach towels are provided and was told "yes" only to arrive and no beach towels are provided. "Cute, older property. Beds were a little run down. The worst issue was the ants. On the 2nd night the ants covered the bottom bunk making it impossible for my daughter to sleep there. There were ants in the restroom and the kitchen as well. "

"This house is in a great location. It’s on the flat ground, no walking uphill from the port and is close to Vons grocery store. The description of the house setting & amenities are as described. We have 8 people in our group & the house is big enough and we feel comfortable to share our space. The kitchen is fully stock. One evening we got to use the BBQ grill & had dinner on the patio. We consider to stay here again when we visit Avalon."

"Very close to the Main Street in walkable distance. Restaurant, super market. Indeed a decent place to stay for the weekend. Although one bath, but it has two toilets so no waiting for 8 people. It also has a wash machine and cloth dry hanger at the back so large tarp can aslo dry at night."
