"HIGHLY recommended !! The property is a 4 story walk-up and we stayed on the top floor with a lovely view over the Douro. The suite was clean, very spacious and well equipped. Veronica, the owner, was nice and quick to respond to our questions. Within a block radius, there are 6 restaurants and a mini-mart like store, and all the sights are within walking distance. If Porto is your destination, VCL's is an excellent place to call home."

Everything was awesome. Just a heads up: it is far from the street, and you need to walk all the way with your luggage and take it up and down the stairs. That is the only negative point for this apartment."

"Very good flat to stay in Porto, close to many amenities, the river and the Don Luis bridge. Very convenient self check in. My only concern was that the air conditioned didn't reach the second floor. Beside that, everything was fine. Highly recommended. "

"We loved the exposed stone and balcony and the location of the apartment. We understood there would be noise from the street due to location but did not expect the linen service people to deliver middle of night / early morning, slamming doors, shouting to one another down the hallway as they dropped off clean linen to the closet at the end of the hall. Extrememly disrespectful."

"The apartments, which have a lift, are located perfectly in walking distance to most of the city centre's historic attractions. Our apartment on the 4th floor (4A) was spacious, decorated in a modern style with a good shower and contained all you need for a short stay. The bed sheets and linen were made from quality cotton and both bed linen and towels were changed on day 2 of our 4 day stay. On arrival, we found that the kettle wasn't working. A quick text to Reception and it was replaced...

The location was perfect for us with access to the metro and buses but also walkable to lots of attractions. The checkin instructions were clear and the staff were very helpful. They provided space to store luggage on our checkout day. I would definitely stay here again."
