"Great location that is NOT directly in Kalamata. 5 minutes drive down the street to all the action. No problem parking (in May). Staff were all extremely helpful and professional. Pool is very nice and big on a raised deck overlooking the beach which is right across the street. You can also walk into the action at Kalamata. Probably a 20 minute walk. I drove into town and was able to park in the large lot. Will recommend and return to this hotel. Only issue was the entrance for th hotel is on the side street and Apple Maps sends you 3 blocks away (sad that Apple Maps still lacks)."

"We had an amazing three day stay at Filoxenia last week! The service was second to none! Everyone from the front desk, maids, wait staff were exceptional. Big shout out to Service Manager Adonis and his dedicated staff! Superstars! Adonis made sure we had a gluten free breakfast package for our 6:00 am checkout as we had to catch an early flight! Really above and beyond! Highly recommend! We will definitely be back! Yasas!"

"I thought that this was a very pleasant hotel where the staff could not have been more friendly or more helpful. Full credit to them. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a beautiful sea view. The operation of the lighting was a bit too complex, but this was just a detail - a bit of over-engineering from its recent refurbishment in what is otherwise a very good hotel."

"Up in the mountains, at a short drive from the Archaeological site of Mystra, this newly furnished B&B was a pleasant surprise. Despite the season being still some months away, they were very busy, and there was a reason for it – everything was perfect – the quality and the cleanliness of the room, the prompt and friendly service, the excellent dinner and breakfast, both offering local products. At dinner, we had the chance to enjoy the music of a slanted local singer and guitar player. All in all, it was a great treat. "

All our guests were simply amazed with property; the sunsets (better than Santorini) and Kalamata. We loved it so much not only will we return but maybe try to buy a place. Best review I can give. "Anaxo Resort isn’t super easy to get to but it is well worth the effort. It’s not hard to get to really, the road is a little narrow and windy but manageable It is a gorgeous place. The rooms are equipped with a small kitchen and the beds and showers are super comfy. The staff is great - super friendly and helpful. The pool and the bar are fantastic. "
