"Best location with amazing view"

"Firstly, the staff were lovely - gave me the really quiet room that I’d requested and was very much appreciated! The location cannot be more central &, though an old traditional building, it has been well maintained and the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but fine & a bargain at €2. Will definitely return when in beautiful Avila. Muchas Gracias!"

"Hotel was lovely, staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great with a fantastic selection. The only let down was parking was horrendous. It took us over an hour to park and there was no availability near the hotel. Not an ideal situation for the elderly."

"The place was clean and safe as well as the area. They allowed me to leave my luggage. WiFi worked great. The provided towels, shampoo and body gel. Bed was comfortable. I’m not sure if it had AC, I did see a heater. Since I didn’t need AC I didn’t look for it. Many of the things to see are within short distance. "

"Disappointing. I had stayed at this hotel several years ago and looked forward to returning, but this time had a small spartan room with tiny thin towels. The pool and pool area are still very good, and the hotel is a block from the bus station. Higher end rooms may be better."

"What an amazing location, finding it via sat -nav not good, instructions should read, enter via entrance to the Valley of the Fallen. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is an old monastery with wonderful character. Breakfast was good with a good choice, being remote, eating out in the evening not easy, so ate at the hotel, a limited fixed menu, quality was OK, but not excellent.
