A really fun place to stay for a short getaway with friends and a toddler. We enjoyed the amazing game room, the hammock, the deck, and the view of the lake. We had a blast and loved the small town atmosphere. The local pub was a great stop on our way between golf courses and was well worth the price and company! We will be staying here again.

Fantastic house in a very peaceful location. Loved spending time outside on the deck, on the hammock, by the firepit, or on the other comfy outdoor furniture. Kitchen was well stocked, which was helpful for making big family style meals. Tons of games, puzzles, ping pong, and water amenities to enjoy the lake. Easy to get into town for groceries or if you want to check out any local haunts. Hosts were super responsive and house was spotless.

Friends get away weekend

The house was so comfortable, spacious and cozy. We loved the location and the quietness of the area. The house had all the amenities we needed and it was comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the incredible view of the lake and was impressed by the variety of bird species we saw and heard. I would definitely return to this property. Wonderful, relaxing getaway

My spouse and I stayed for a weekend with family. We wish we could have stayed longer! The view from the deck is gorgeous and the home is quiet with practically no traffic. We cooked, hiked, and relaxed. Communication was great. I highly recommend this place!

Myself and four friends stayed here for a girls getaway, and we could not have hoped for a more perfect place to rest and recharge. Perfect Weekend Getaway And Views

We had an amazing cousins weekend at this beautiful house. The deck provided stunning sunset views over the river and forest. The location felt more private and remote than we expected, which was a delightful surprise. The basement was a hit with shuffleboard, foosball, and ping pong. We also enjoyed kayaking in the mornings. The caretakers were responsive and kind. Highly recommend this place, and we’d gladly rent it again for our next trip.

Great Stay

House is in a nice location at the end of a cul de sac. Bedrooms are spacious. Kids loved the games downstairs. Deck had a nice sitting area and dining table. A couple of spots in the laminate were bubbled up and the whole floor would move up and down when you stepped in those areas. The dock was pulled out of the water already, which made it very difficult to use.

Our recent stay at this VRBO in Avoca, Wisconsin, was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful atmosphere and the sheer number of things to keep us entertained, both at the house and in the surrounding area.The location itself is incredibly serene, offering a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We particularly enjoyed spending time outdoors (other than the univited guests: the mosquitoes). The fishing was a highlight, and evenings spent gathered around the fire pit under the stars were truly magical.Venturing out, we had a great time visiting the local Whiskey Row Saloon, which had a friendly and welcoming vibe. A trip to the iconic House on the Rock was also a must-do and provided a truly unique and memorable experience.Back at the VRBO, there was no shortage of entertainment. The basement game area was a hit, providing hours of fun for everyone. The house itself was well-equipped and comfortable. A particularly helpful surprise was discovering an Instant Pot in the cupboard after we'd forgotten our slow cooker – it definitely came in handy!Overall, this Avoca VRBO exceeded our expectations. It offered the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, with plenty to do for all ages. We left feeling refreshed and with wonderful memories. We highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a peaceful and fun-filled Wisconsin getaway!
