"The Hotel Cleveland met our needs, as our work was very close by. However, I would not choose to stay there again. An older hotel, though elegant is not particularly comfortable. They were short of staff, so often our room was not cleaned, despite multiple requests. Though likely out of the influence of hotel, there were several aggressive panhandlers who had to be negotiated when entering and leaving the building. "

"Bed bug alert! At first glance the hotel seemed to be clean enough to spend one night while my parent was hospitalized at Cleveland clinic. The staff was nice enough and you truly get what you pay for. However when I woke up in the morning there was a bed bug- live crawling on the bed. I had checked the mattresses the night before when I first arrived and no signs. The front desk clerk was very nice when I presented the dead bed bug. She said they have done things to get rid of them but it happens. They gave me trash bags for all my belongings and said they would reimburse my room. However they never did what they needed to on their end for Expedia to refund mr. Despite calls to the hotel. My $59 room cost a purse, suitcase, and clothes that needed to be thrown away. Bad choice on my end- you get what you pay for."

"Our stay at the Westin Cleveland was extremely disappointing. The first room they put us in was clearly not cleaned properly — the tub had dirt and debris all over it and the shower wouldn’t even get hot. After complaining, they moved us to another room, which somehow wasn’t any better. The second bathroom had a hair sitting in the tub and the shower only got lukewarm. To make matters worse, the front desk staff was rude when we checked out, and when we tried calling from the room earlier in the stay they simply stopped answering the phone after moving us to the second room. Overall, it felt like cleanliness and customer service were the last thing this hotel cared about. Very disappointing experience."
