"The property is in a quiet cul de sac of the village. Note there are street lights in the cul de sac but none in the village. You need a torch. The place was clean. Good sized bathroom. Well equipped kitchen especially if you want to cook for yourself. The cottage is an ideal base for visiting the area with many attractions a short drive away. "It's not a bad place. But filthy carpets were the main disappointment & filthy smoke butts outside the main door up stairs. Was there for 3 days, not once did I see anybody do any cleaning or replenish towels or tea & coffee. That's why it wasn't value for money. "Really lovely hotel with nice decor. The bed was comfortable and it had the best blackout curtains ever, meaning we both had an amazing sleep. The huge spa bath was a real treat too. Constructive areas for improvement were that the shower gel and hand wash were both empty and had not been refilled, The lighting was very poor, meaning it was hard to do make-up and dry my hair for a night out. The tv was also broken and kept randomly turning itself off, which we reported as we left so hopefully it will be sorted. Thank you got a nice stay."
