We were made very welcome by John and hadall we needed for a very comfortable stay with our two dogs. There were lots of little touches that added to our good experience-including welcome bags for each dog and more than adequate continental breakfast. We would highly recommend a d stay again. Thank you
Very friendly owner. Clear instructions were given ahead of time. Communication was excellant. Pretty cozy little room with a view and a real fireplace. Close to Lyme Regis beach. Will book again!
Great location with terrific views. Very handy for River Cottage courses. Friendly hosts and a spacious room and lots of little extras that made me feel very welcome.
We loved everything about our stay here. It was so peaceful with beautiful surroundings and views.
The room itself was very cosy with everything we needed and some extra little treats. We didn’t have to think about anything. It was very relaxing.
The bed was so comfortable and the bath was huge.
We would highly recommend and will definitely be back in the near future.
What a hidden gem of a place!
The room was lovely, very clean and John was absolutely lovely to deal with.
Only a short distance to some lovely beaches too.
The rooms themselves had everything you would need for a self catering holiday.
Very clean and tidy and I would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.
We will definitely be back for more visits in the future.
5 star ratings for everything.
I absolutely loved my stay at the Nethleigh. I stayed in the room called The Snug, and it admirably lived up to the name. It was comfortable and very cozy. There was a small fireplace in the room with wood provided for a crackling fire, though I didn't make one. The owner had provided fresh milk in the fridge for my hot drinks, as well as a variety of teas and coffees. The mugs and plates were very nice, and there were lovely wine glasses available had I wanted to use them. A small table and chairs were perfect for a meal. The room had options to suit my desired level of light, and there was a nice tv and a variety of books. Connectivity was good, and I was able to plug in my phone to the USB to charge it. The night I stayed was very cold, but I was toasty warm with the comforter provided.
The owner greeted me when I arrived, and he made sure I knew where everything was. He said that if I needed anything to let him know. He was friendly and attentive, but not intrusive.
The first time I was in the area I stayed in a regular hotel. The next time I'm there I will definitely stay at the Netherleigh, and I strongly recommend it to everyone.
Beautiful place to stay, wonderful hosts! Will certainly be returning and will highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. Over and above expected.
A lovely luxury suite with excellent breakfasts. Very helpful friendly hosts. Small suggestions, bed-side lights needed both sides of bed, not just one and light in bathroom over mirror for shaving and everything would be perfect.

Garage conversion.
Lovely couple, very helpful and excellent breakfast. Good location if you are visiting River Cottage by car, but only one pub within walking distance nothing else around. We upgraded to larger room which was really a converted garage separate from house. Ok stay for one max 2 nights.
Hosts were very friendly, made us feel very welcome. Facilities in room were perfect for a weekend away, extra touch - tea/coffee and milk was really good. Room we stayed in was spacious and had own lounge area.
I liked the secluded, tranquil location of this B and B I was looking for a quiet retreat from which I could walk and hike parts of the Jurassic Coast. This B and B was just the ticket I set off each morning on a different pathway easy down hill walking and after a pleasant day exploring the coast while in places it was a steep uphill climb it was a pleasant walk back uphill to the B and B. Mostly on paths and bridal paths or quiet cycle route roads. Service was excellent from the welcoming owners, thougoughly enjoyed my stay.
Lovely one night stay with the husband and 10 year old. The studio was comfy and cozy. John the owner was super helpful and friendly and recommended a great place for tea. Amazing breakfast the next morning too. Would definitely stay here again.
There was heavy rain all night and because of the tin roof my sleep was badly interrupted.
The hot water in the hand wash basin wasn't hot.
The choice of breakfast cereals was very poor.
Amazing self contained studio in a very quiet location. Delicious breakfast brought to us at a time we requested, and lots of lovely little touches in the studio itself, such as orange juice, filter coffee and bread already there on arrival
We really enjoyed our stay - separate and breakfast served to our room which was so nice.
shower was great and the owners told us about current events in the town so we could participate. Loved the fact there was milk in the fridge AND cold water in a bottle .Would definiely like to stay here again
