Beautiful, stylish and modern cosy, and central 2 bed house (can sleep up to 6)

Beautiful modern and stylish 2 bed house with a large living dinning area. This property has just been recently refurbished. The living room has a large sofa bed, a stylish centre table and a large smart Tv with Netflix, YouTube etc. The property is within walking distance to Aylesbury theatre, Aylesbury train station, town centre, local shops and close proximity to stoke Mandeville stadium and Milton Keynes.
There is also a workstation for those working from home.
Kitchen has all appliances including a Bosc coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, microwave, utensils, iron and ironing board in the storage
The property has a lovely bathroom (bathtub and shower) and toilet.
Bedroom 1 has a king size bed and a fold out john Lewis double bed mattress with a lovely modern lampstand, built in wardrobe with hangers and a bed size table.
Bedroom 2 is equally tastefully decorated with matching lampshade and blinds, a double size bed and a modern bedside drawer
To entertain the younger ones, there is a games football table.
There is also free on street parking and a shared garden

Cheap, glad we only booked one night.

No communication about how to get in until I asked so we were stuck outside for half an hour. It was freezing when we got in. Put the heating on straight away and it took about 5 hours to warm up as many of the windows need replacing and two of them are so broken they won't shut. The whole place has a cheap feel, bad bedding, not enough pillows, fridge noisy. I'm glad we only had one night booked. It was fairly clean. Lots of things offered on the website didn't exist, like printer or internet access. There's a telly, but it's not logged in so you can't watch anything unless you have a hotspot with you. Needs more investment.

Worst experience

We did not receive any check in instructions by 2pm on day of stay. Called host to ask for them. On the call the host said the stay was not available and cancelled. If we didn’t call to ask for the check in instructions we wouldn’t even have known. They didn’t have the courtesy to tell us in advance. We were in the area for a wedding so we needed a place to stay overnight regardless. I don’t understand how one can have a confirmed reservation and the host can just decide to cancel on a whim (on the day of check in itself!) and the only recourse is to get a refund??? Never again.
