"This house has an excellent location in Montsoreau and has very nice views of the Loire river from the upper floors. It's perfect for exploring the area West of Tours around Saumur and is easily accessible to Angers as well as chateaus such as Villandry and Azay-le-Rideau. We didn't have our bicycles and wish we had but the local walking through vineyards is still phenomenal. The bottom floor doesn't have any view but has an excellent and very usable kitchen that is well kitted out as well as...

"What a situation and what a great conversion to a holiday let. We were greeted by the host, who had already lit the wood burner, this was most welcome as the weather was cold also left us a bottle of fizz. We did find the stairs a little daunting but this was down to the fact we were all in our late 70's early 80's. The main bedroom is vast, triple aspect with great views across the river which is also a bird watchers delight. A great property in an amazing location."

"Small but perfectly formed. Only lack of its own outside space, access to a terrace so we could eat outside, was our only frustration. Marc on behalf of his mum was excellent. Because of its aspect the house was very hot in the over 30C weather. We appreciated the ready access to buses and of course the Riverside"

"We had an amazing visit to the heart of the Loire Valley. This is a beautifully renovated old building in the quaint old village of Larcay. A 2 minute walk to the river or an amazing little restaurant called Les Planchettes. Easy access to Tours and the many castles and vineyards in the area. It feels like travelling back in time but with all of the modern amenities. Thanks to Sylvain and Adele for everything, including the welcome bottle of delicious Vouvray! Highly recommended."

"My family and I enjoyed this house and it was great to be able to appreciate the old architectural charm of the building. The outdoor space was perfect for us and was a big plus. The house isn’t right in the city center but we were able to walk or ride bikes into town very conveniently. The only real negative was the checkin and checkout process as the place where we had to pick up and drop off the key was not close by especially if you were in a rush or didn’t have a car. "The property is located in rural setting, lots of farming around the area. The location suited ourselves as we found it didn't prevent us from exploring nearby attractions. Saumur and Chinon and the Loire river were all within easy reach. "We recently visited the Loire Valley with our family of four adults. This loft was well equipped and modern. Washer/dryer and drying rack appreciated. There was some construction on the street in front of the building, but we were able to access the unit from the back lane. If you have mobility issues, the stairs would be a challenge but they were not a concern for us. Quick response from owner with any questions. Overall an excellent place and we would stay here again."
