"Everything was great. Even during a tornado warning, the staff was calm and helpful. Only not so good was the breakfast. Need to improve on the taste of the buffet food. But make your own waffles was good."

"Unique urban concept at Hotel Otto with amazing food! I recently stayed at Hotel Otto, which is a very interesting "micro-resort" concept using converted shipping containers. It has a great urban energy and is in a fantastic location right near the Trinity River walking paths. Being pet-friendly was a huge plus for enjoying the trails, and the ample parking made arrival very easy. The food was definitely the highlight of the stay—everything we tried was awesome. I did find that the urban setting and the container design meant the roadway noise was quite noticeable. I personally prefer a bit more quiet for a night's rest, but I found that using a fan noise app on my phone was a helpful workaround to drown out the traffic. While I’m glad I experienced the unique design and the great restaurant, I realized that I tend to prefer a more traditional hotel setup for comfort. It’s a cool spot for a visit, especially if you love being near the river trails and the city vibe!"
