Villa located directly at the sea

"Im Haus von Marija und Klaus haben wir zwei wunderschöne Wochen erlebt. Die Terrasse mit einem traumhaften Blick auf die Bucht von Klek, die eigene private Mole mit dem direkten Zugang zum Meer und die wundervoll entspannende Atmosphäre rund um das ganze Haus mit viel Schatten spendenden Böumen haben uns total begeistert. Wir sind vom ersten Tag an voll in unseren Urlaub eingetaucht. Mit einem dort zur Verfügung stehen Surfbrett und einem Standup-Paddel-Board haben wir die ganze Bucht und die kleine vorgelagerte Insel erkundet! Das glasklare Wasser einfach ein Traum. Im Haus hat uns an nichts gefehlt und die Aufteilung des Hauses in den großzügigen Wohn-Essbereich mit zwei Schlafzimmer sowie drei schöne Zimmer mit tollem Blick auf das smaragdgrüne Meer im ersten Stock mit eigenem Eingang hat für uns sieben Erwachsene sehr gut gepasst. Marija und Klaus sind sehr liebenswürdige Vermieter, denen unser Wohl immer am Herzen lag. Wir konnten uns mit jeder Frage an sie wenden. Die beiden sind uns schon nach kurzer Zeit sehr ans Herz gewachsen. Das Restaurant in der Nachbarschaft bietet frische typisch kroatische Menüs. Auch hier haben wir die familiäre Atmosphäre sehr genossen. Den Ort Klek erreicht man bequem zu Fuss von der kleinen Halbinsel in 5 Minuten. Hier gibt es alles, was es an Basics so braucht. Von dort erreicht man mit dem Auto im Umkreis von 30 - 60 min schöne Spots (Korčula, Neretwa-Delta mit Kite-Surf-Strand, Ston, usw.. Absoluter Highlight-Urlaub"

"We’ve stayed here before and we enjoyed it that much we came back. Reasonable prices for the accommodation and good public transport links. Staff are friendly and helpful. The area isn’t as touristy so a quieter place. Would definitely recommend the plaza Slano which is just around the bay. Cheap beer and boat hire that isn’t too expensive with very friendly English speaking staff."

"Gorgeous hotel, right on the seafront with private access. Staff were all so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help, the hotel was very clean and the food was great. This hotel was great value for money, gorgeous views and would definitely recommend!!"

"1Host Josipa was awesome, couldn’t have wished for anyone nicer, more helpful or friendly. She was there to guide or help whenever we needed.2There were a few things that would be so helpful to have known up front - no toaster, for example. We could have bought one on the way here at Lidl. There are a lot of steps, important to know this is on 4 steep levels so not for everyone.3Essential to bring reef shoes as almost all the access to the sea is very stony and rocky. The closest beach Sutmiholjska is pebbly not sand, but gorgeous, others rocky and 30 min drive. In the National Park, water access is difficult but fun for an hour, the boat ride is just an opportunity to sell food at vastly inflated prices (I paid 10 euros for a can of beer) and only hiking, cycling or kayaking to do, if children old enough. Trips to the mainland require ferry crossing, car 6 people makes it expensive but Dubrovnik worth the trip if you can get up early enough to avoid heat and crowds, but very touristy4Impossible to enjoy this villa without cars. Nothing is close by except a pharmacy and one pizza restaurant which was always very busy. It was a half hour drive to limited restaurants at Polace, Pomena or Saplunara. 5The infinity pool was fabulous, I’d recommend putting up a sail for some shade one end, this would be great for children and adults alike. The two large umbrellas were great but not quite enough. Loungers a bit shabby but useful. We spent much of the holiday here!"

"Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, the rooms are luxurious, beds soo comfy, just one little niggle is the layout of the bathroom, not designed for short people and why is there a handle in front of the sink?"

"The property is located in a beyond beautiful bay. The apartments with a sea view are superb. There are a couple of nice sandy beaches nearby. There is nothing more to do when staying here other than to relax. There is no bike hire that we could find at this end of the Island. The best part of staying here is the wonderful outside restaurant. It is run by the whole family who are so friendly it makes you feel very much at home. You must have the local Peka dish which you order earlier in the day as it takes 3 hours to cook. Highly recommend if you are looking to relax and eat well."

"Guest House Kiko was exactly as advertised. Room was clean and host communicated well on how to meet once we arrived. The location was ideal for visiting Mljet National Park (which is just a few steps away) and staying in Pomena with a spectacular view. The restaurant attached had a lot of charm, friendly staff and great food."
