Lyn and her partner have worked so hard on this property to make it one of the most beautiful places I've stayed.Well stocked appliances, a fire pit, the bed was super comfortable and there was a Webber BBQ! "We stayed here recently with my elderly parents and siblings and their families. We were able to spread put across the cottage and the house. Lots of space for kids to roam and with teenagers they spent the weekend playing tennis, pool, darts, cricket and swimming in the pool. We bought our dog as well so it was nice that we could all enjoy the break. Whilst the house and property are looking a little tired it does mean you can feel comfortable with smaller kids at the house as well. And our host Mike was so helpful with check in and letting the kids feed the ducks and collect eggs as well so it really added to the experience. For a large place that is quite reasonable in price it has a lot to offer when looking for a more relaxed laid back vibe."

"Our little farm Homestead was such a perfect getaway from city stress. Cows and horses and a river just down the hill.Bev was a fantastic host, and having dogs (Donut and Bundy) to play with was such a nice bonus. Homestead could easily house 7 people, but it was a great choice as just a couple too. :)"

"The countryside in this area is a slice of heaven with its mountains on all sides and the house is perfectly situated with north easterly views from the veranda. Very comfy, quality linen and towels - lots to love."
